May I suggest VIR as a possible track for a possible shootout?

Granted it's a bit of a haul for RMW, but it's conveniently closer to the tuners who talked smack and will make it easier for them to back their talk up.
I'd kick in $50 for this shootout.

Yeah, its sitting in storage down in San Diego. My job starts in mid/late January and will run through Feb into early march, so, count me in if I can get registered OK in the Miata. I just bought the Miata and have yet to autocross/track it, so, it will probably take me the better part of the day to really get comfortable I'm sure, but, it will be a blast regardless. i really wish I had the R56 out there, but, the Miata will have to do I guess. ;-)

I think Kelli will probably be close to this time. If that is their best street stock time, I don't think the modifieds will do a whole lot better. The Focus Challenge record for that track running the same way is 1:36.75

I know there is no way my big heavy jetta is going to hang with them or the MINIs though. Kelli on the other hand has a wee beastie now. I know once she gets some more experience other than the one track day that she has done under her belt she's going to be kicking butt.
