H Stock SCCA in Paradise
Aloha to all my autocrossing MINIacs!!
I just discovered this forum section (H-Stock) and thought I'd start my new year by posting here.
I represent the epitome of "stock"....no mods except the Schroth harness.
I run with the heavy R83 (5-star) 16" wheel with run-flat tires
Happy Motoring Year!!

That is Hawaii Raceway Park, our ONLY local racetrack located in Campbell Industrial Park.
I think those lines are located between turns 6 and 7, the staging area before the 1/4 mile dragstrip.

On Friday nights the 1/4 mile is a popular event so to line up the competitors those lined lanes are used.
More and more MINIs are showing up at the monthly SCCA solo II event. Maybe I should buy a MC CVT and run it stock to give MINIAC some healthy competition.

WOW!!!It's hard to believe that was a year ago
I think my autocross skills have improved since then ( I hope
)I'm finally having fun......relaxed and being smooth
I hope to see more MINIs out in HS so we can trophy all the top spots
That's a festive looking MINI.
Not sure if that hood ornament would pass the current safety inspection for 2005. Must remove all items not bolted down usually.
We need more stock class MINIs out there for autocross.
Usually we have zero G-stock and only one H-stock!
You guys could be sweeping up all the top places if you'd only come on out to play.
Next event is this sunday morning at HRP.

I was excited to see another stock MINI Cooper in HS for the SCCA Hawaii Region.
A CVT, to boot!
C'mon Hawaii folks, we need more regular Coops out on the track. I'm surrounded by S's.
For the Jan. 2nd results, visit http://www.sccahawaii.org and click on to SOLO II results.
