Crrikey and I ran the auto-x today
ONLY one other mini and not sure what class they were in.

Both if us were in T2-SM

We had 5 MINI's at the SCCA event in Atwater yesterday.

 

well there were actually 4 MINIs ...

Scooby what class do you run in.

I have been in GTX, SM, and T2-SM

They (SCCA) and myself just don't seem to be able to find my "home"

 

We run SM

We had 2 other MINI's there watching also.

 

I thisnk I will stick with SM and not T2... That way I wont be "to" intrested in the PAX.

Do you run different tires ?

I got CRRIKEY this time ...
We really are a bit outclassed in SM.
I am going to go all out and do tires and MUCH more
CRRIKEY may go to STX

We both will do some auto-x tuning before this weekend SCCA @ McAfee
We did learn a LOT and will hopefully move in the right direction.

Also we both have track days set up, and have some set up changes to make.
ALSO we are BOTH bit a "WOW pedal happy" ... just need to chill and be smooth

What tires and sizes did you use (both MINIs)?

 

I run KDW 2s (215/45 x 17)...
Next seasion I will have an extra wheel and tire set... looking at 710s not exactly sure of size yet ... 7.5 wide will allow 225/ 40 or 45s.

I need 17s as I do have a BBK.

Even with the KDWs I am 6th or 7th on SM scoring.

I am looking for wheels and tires. used rims for sale, and tire input appreciated.
