City light not working - no power at socket

My passenger side city light isn't working. I have changed the bulb, but it still didn't work. So, I checked for voltage at the socket and I get zero.
The wiring appears intact.
Is there another possibility for the light being out?
When I got the car, it had a few FRM error codes, but they all cleared fine. There is one left, but it's not for bulbs.
Do I need to reset FRM to restore power to this bulb? Or is there something else that's common about the lights not working?

Thanks!

So, today, I have tried to reset the FRM short circuit counter for that front right parking light, but Tool32 says it cannot communicate with that module. It gives error "ediabas error 20: ifh-0010".
Now, I can successufully check the counters of athe other side parking bulb and sny other bulb. Only when trying to access counter count for the front right larking bulb, I get that error.
I guess this means that there's actually a physical problem with the harness/cable and that light is truly not getting any power. Do I have that right?
that'll need to check the wires to see if there's an obvious breakage.

I think there were some recalls on that or some other modules up front there which could be your problem. Might be worth it to take it in to the dealer for that.

No open recalls for my car. :(

I didn't check fuses yet, but I think there's only one fuse for both lights and one side is working fine. I will check though.

Sometimes it isn't even a recall and is just an extension of the warranty on a given component. I think there are computer modules in this area that fill into such. Did you check with Mini?

Good point about possible TSBs.

I did find that Mini USA (not Canada) issued extended warranty on FRM modules! 8 years/125k miles. Unfortunately, I am oast 8 years and in Canada, so I guess SOL.
I will call them anyway to see if there's something.

That is precisely what I had in mind and trying to remember. I think it would be worth it to try them to see if they may honor it or some form of help with it since it is a known issue.
