I had one of these on my R55. Loved it. However, I really got used to it. When I made the move a few weeks ago to an R60 the car just never felt as sporty and fun to drive as my R55. I can saw now I know what was the issue.

Today I put the NM short shifter in my R60. WOW.

How hard was it to install? I'm thinking I should do this to my car as well

Install should be pretty easy since you don't have to pull the whole assembly. I considered the NM, but ended up going with the Cravenspeed since it shortens the top side of the shifter. I think the stock shifter is way too tall.
