I'm confused; there isn't any JCW R60 out yet but somehow there's an exhaust?

Did the JCW exhaust come out before on previous models as well?

I'm aware of the body kits etc.

When the original Countryman accessory list was released, the JCW exhaust system was on it. However, after working with MINI for several months after being unable to order it, the project team in Germany was unresponsive. Just recently, was I able to obtain part numbers for the JCW exhaust system and now, as you can see, they are finally in my hands!

As for earlier models, I cannot offer any input on the matter being that we opened our doors as a MINI franchise in 2011.

No exhaust listed for an ALL4 as of this moment. I would assume one is in the works since there will be a JCW Countryman ALL4. We will be keeping our eyes open for it when it drops.

kittoh, we are definitely looking forward to it!

Gotcha, I just didn't see it on the MINI configurator either.

i would like to know more about how it flows better and how it sounds also before spending over one thousand dollars on a muffler that looks exactly like what is on the car, except for nice tips.

Here is a link to a very crude before video. Excuse the filthy car and poor video quality. Was in a hurry and did this just before dropping the car off this morning. Will get better footage of the after.

The installation does not take very long and each shop will vary with what they will charge. The system is only two pieces so removal, installation, and fitment should be under a couple hours.

Unfortunately, we do not have a dyno so I cannot provide any horsepower/torque numbers and there is no information from MINI at this time.

Break in? Never heard of exhaust having to break in though... At least not on any of my previous cars... all with exhaust. Is it louder than stock at idle and WOT? Is there any drone when on the fwy?

Some exhausts do have break in periods to burn out the manufacturing gunk. The sound of this one seems to be changing so I assume that is it but??? It may be in my head but I plan to take some db levels tomorrow and the following days to see if it is in fact changing. No freeway drone so far. At idol a little louder sounds awesome when rolling throttle, lots of blurble and popping. WOT, it is hard to say will try to get drive by video tomorrow.

Could be that my exhaust on my Chevelle is chambered (Flowmaster) and the Cobra is straight through (SLP) and neither had exhaust break in... both are loud as heck since day one Looking forward to your video - really on the cusp of ordering this exhaust for the Mini but your video will be my tipping point - no pressure on you though LOL

Here is a quick clip of the exhaust. Some more clips coming soon but I know everyone is anxious to hear it!

That sounds so much better than the stock exhaust. Too bad it's not available for the CM4 yet.
