I was able to find Chili Red, Black, Blue, and Silver White (maybe, I can't remember). My last several cars have been blue, (including the Countryman I traded in), somInwas looking for something different. Red in any shade has never really jumped out at me. It really came down to the Black with Black interior, and this one. I just REALLY liked the cream and chrome exterior with the Toffee seats. I drove 350 miles north to get it.

We got home last night just in time to go to bed, but I was blessed to have a beautiful day and was able to wash the car, put the top down and go for a drive. SO MUCH FUN!

What I really want to do (much to my wife's dismay) is get the wood trim on the inside. Where that money will come from.... Well now you see my wife's dismay!

Keep an eye out at places like ECS Tuning. Given what MINI have done recently, like selling off the JCW kits for the Clubman at crazy prices, I wouldn't be surprised if after the production of the Convertible/Coupe/Roadster ends they sell off some more stuff like the dashboard trims.

That's a real nice combo.

I've only taken mine out a couple of times since the middle of January
It's my first mini, and with the weather we've had here on Long Island, let's just say, I don't really want to take it to the train station.

Next weekend, though... yeah, baby!

Congrats, Mini Mainer. Chili Red was one of the first colors I considered. Looking at yours make me want that color again. It's certainly easier that keeping up with BUSTER's Midnight Black. Happy motoring and please don't forget to wave.

p.s. Don't forget to participate in the "Top Up/Top Down Ratio" thread.

Off to work one day this week: Five days out of five top-down to work, four days top-down home and it looks like tonight will complete the perfect score!
EDIT: Top down home on Friday too, so a perfect 10/10!

Good for you Spiney!

Have had a hot streak here in Iowa...has been in the 60's and low 70's this week..temps me to take the snows off our cars...but I KNOW better in mid-March.

What snows do you use on your Roadster? and...RF or non-RF? Thanks!

I'll be tooling around with the top down today but there's certainly no sign of snow. Good for you, spiney.

I've been very apprehensive to get all the spring stuff out. But with the weather the way it is here, I'm itching to get it going.

I have 205/45/17 runflat Blizzaks. I don't want to get stuck on the roadside with plows barreling by.

I usually put them on on Guy Fawkes Day (November 5th) and take them off on my birthday (early April). Works for me here in SE Mass.

Dang, you still have some serious snow pack there.

But looking good, as always. I'd be tempted to run those wheels in the summer too.
