Not a problem. One day you might get the itch to get them.

Like you, I'm loving the GP2 Rear Diffuser. Was that a dealer installed option?
Thanks, yes, it was right after a wash! The diffusers were installed by the dealer for me after delivery. I saw them on another coupe at one point and really just had to have them!

I know exactly how you felt. I loved the look so much that I actually went to the trouble of re-routing my Cooper exhaust system to accommodate it.

I looked longingly at a few GP2s on MTTS, but I'm not sure I could go back to having a roof again! Good luck with your new car.

wow, 2yrs... that's not a long time to own a car unless your leasing... or money is no object...

Congrats on the GP2!... that's as to be a fun tuned MINI for sure.

I feel sorry to see this nice looking roadster go though... I too would have a hard time going from the roadster to a hardtop. I get them when they give me a loaner car and they're still great, but some how I don't get the same joy.

Out with the old, in with the new! Congrats on your new MINI, GEMSTER. What is the wheel you have pictured here on the Roadster?

Funny, I still refer our 1 yr old MINI as the new car. It's a matter of perspective I guess

Thanks guys! I will surely miss the top down experience a little bit. They both bring the same amount of smiles to my face, but just different kinds of smiles (if that makes sense).

TG. - I wish money was no object. :P
The Roadster was a lease that I ended early.

Mr.T - the wheels are Advan RSII in 17x7. They will be going on my GP2 very soon.

Great pictures guys! Love the Roadsters in Orange!

I have been very busy and just looked through the thread since my last post. LOL. But on a good note I saw my first Roadster while sitting my Roadster this weekend! It was Red and at Custer State Park in South Dakota. Didn't get a close look as I wizzed by the parking lot trying to stay ahead of a motor home. Anyone on here on vacation out this way?

So here's my pictures from this past weekend. They were taken in Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, and Vanocker Canyon.

Great pics! Two comments though:
1) You let other people drive your car? NO-ONE gets near mine!
2) Did you spend any time driving or was it all spent cleaning? Your car looks perfect!

Thanks guys!

Spiney, me and my wife are the 2 driving in the pics. We share the car in the summer, and in the winter it's mine... LOL. I drove my truck down here since weather was bad and I wanted to take some R/C planes with me for the summer and my wife periodically drives my Roadster down whenever she gets a chance. Since I get to see it for a few days every couple months this summer I clean it every time I see it! When my wife gets here we unload her stuff, then go to car wash, and then food! LOL

Gil-Galad, Weather has been pretty bad, but it comes in waves. It helped keep the car clean. Thunderstorms like crazy! No hail though whenever the Mini has been here. My truck has received some hail dings though. Here is an example of a weather picture we got from the Roadster this last weekend! Top down, we might have been a little closer than we should have... Got a pretty quick picture taking finger!

An overlook by dinosour hill in Rapid city.

Panarama from about 10 different pics before we left our hotel parking lot.

My 'new' Roadster - 2012 with only 1,560 miles on the clock - never registered, a Factory display baby, I guess. Some Soda you-ification bits on it, wood trim, much fun.

Nice! As you might imagine, I have a soft spot for justa-Roadsters.

Yes, run for cover. Looks like hail weather.
