I think the Satin Blue Gunmetal looks fantastic, Rolo-R59. Unfortunately, one Chicago winter might trash that finish.

Awesome.
A 7-hour drive: quite possibly the best way to pick up a new car.

Congratulations! Welcome to the Roadster obsession.

So, while on the subject, where could I see the breath of all the different dash pieces and door trims MINI makes that would fit a R59?

Mr. T:

That is the finest interior trim job I have yet to see. Simple addition, but its a very classy mod!

For example, TG, the Mayfair Edition was for the hardtop but yet it fit the Roadster. I think that those particular dash parts fit all 2nd generation MINIs.

Go to www.realoem.com enter your information, there is a interior trim category. All the part numbers are listed.

I appreciate the tip but it doesn't really show the full spectrum like the Mr T. option. It most likely is just a representation of what MINI sales with that particular model. It's also hard to hunt what they actually look like

Looks great Mr. T, glad it worked out for you.

If you need dash trim changes for the MINI R58 or R59. Check out the interior section of your model , then dashboard kits. For example below. We will be adding more to this section soon. Some matching door handles are under > interior > door .

Thanks for the positive feedback but I must say that the photo you have here of the burled walnut looks great but nothing like the pieces I received. If it really looked this amazing, I would have kept it. You studio might want to photograph the ones I return as a better representation of the color for future customers.

Thanks Mr. T ,

That was shot on white, which sometimes you shoot different woods on different backgrounds it brings out the color. Up against the dark dash it might have looked different. I have seen these in person and they look great. On a goodwood interior with cornsilk, so it a little lighter. Each RR wood is unique as the dash I had seen in one before had a little more red tone. Its real wood so no two are alike as nature has variety. But are close color matched

Glad you liked the Mayfair interior . Looks very nice with the toffee.

No need to school this photographer on what color backgrounds do to colored objects. I understand all of that quite well and certainly worth mentioning for the unexperienced person. The particular set I received did not have the reddish cast this photo suggests. Since these are a natural wood product, each run will be slightly different, we all understand this. Yes, the Goodwood set will appear slightly richer against lighter interiors, like cornsilk, and lighter against black interiors. The set I received was a dark honey or light carmel color and did not look great with the Toffee Lounge leather.

Thanks for all the information you provided. It certainly helped me in making my decision for my latest mod.
