Very nice! White Silver? Like the Black Union Jack mirrors and black trim... very tidy. Switzerland has amazing countryside, deep valleys and incredible mountains and lakes. Where did you take these pictures?

Totally jealous. Love that entire country. Drove the route on the way south from Liechtenstein to Lugano, but it wasn't in a Mini Roadster and it was many, many years ago. Switzerland has to be one of the best places to live and drive a Roadster. So many great routes! Wow. Hope you take your camera and share shots whenever you go on a trip... you have an audience here!
You found a "hard hat" version of your Roadster on the Furka Pass!
We drove the Furka in a bright orange 1974 Westfalia VW Microbus with a white rear hinged pop up top. The 2.0L motor was great for climbing the pass, but the brakes faded away (as normal for those days) after the first few meters heading down from the summit. 1st gear and no real braking power made for a fun white knuckled ride all the way down. It was one of many mountain descents we will never forget in that VW!
Wasn't this one, but looked a lot like it. Don't have digital pictures of the one we owned...
That's my dad. He could not stop smiling while motoring with the top down.
Great picture! A really super shot of you guys in your classic BRG Mini Roadster. And there's sunshine and green grass and leaves on the trees with no snow covering anything. Too nice.
Yesterday we would have been frozen under cloudy skies, 30 degree temperatures with the top down. Would have had to wear wool hats, a couple of warm clothing layers and good warm gloves with the heater blasting. Maybe even have to turn on the seat heat. Oh, wait, we actually did that yesterday!
Enjoy those rides. Getting the feeling we may need to take a road trip southward!
You have to actually drive southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, northern Italy (ok, all of Italy!) and eastern France to really appreciate the pictures that PBRoadster is sharing with us. Keep em coming! It's a never-never car land through all their mountain regions.
The years I was there, we had a little orange Civic CVCC hatchback with a manual, a kind of original Mini ripoff. We went through 2 sets of plus 1 Michelins, and a set of snow tires while there. The last year an a half, we added the Westfalia camper.
Totally nice pictures. Your Roadster keeps making my Roadster jealous.

Wow. I saw the pictures of Spiney on their site when I went to investigate AutoNuvo. Definitely looking at taking a ride down there this coming Spring. They really did a superb detailing job on your car.
MiniRoadstah, where in Maine are you? I'm in Richmond (just South of Augusta).
Shameless repost from 1st Gear forum:
Here are two pics, one with my friend Emily the day after I bought it, and one this past summer with 1979 Motobecane Grand Touring.
Neither photo shows the license plate: FLLSIZE.

Great looking Mini Roadster and bike! Not a whole lot of Roadsters in Maine. I've seen maybe 4 with local plates, and 3 of them were in Portland. Do see plenty of other Mini models. Too bad Mini doesn't have a dealership in Maine. They'd do pretty well in this state.
We're about 15 miles inland from Portland in the Hills of Raymond. Lots of hills, glacial rocks and trees. Occasionally, even some snow.
Where did you buy yours? By the time we finally decided to get a Roadster, they were well out of production. We searched the whole country, and even drove a couple of them as far away as Florida. Almost snagged a black Roadster from the Mini dealership in Albuquerque a year ago in September, but we lost out on that car and what would have been an epic Roadster trip. Then last October, we noticed that one had come up for sale in Peabody, MA. A super lucky low miles find that was originally bought from Mini of Peabody late May 2015. So glad we were able to buy it. Definitely the most fun driving car we've ever owned.
I got mine in June 2014 from Mini of New Bedford as a leftover 2013 model. It had about 3200 miles on it so they discounted it to less than some of the used 2013s on the market; and it was exactly what I wanted at the time--my daily driver had been hit while parked at Portland Jetport and I wanted something a little nicer to take on dates and such.
The choice came down to:
Another Mustang (the 2013+ are way bigger than the 1999s and I just didn't like it the same)
A 2013 Miata...which ALMOST won out...
A used BMW Z-series or Honda S2000
The Mini Roadster (because I wanted a decent trunk)
I asked a bunch of my female friends and the Mini won by a landslide. :D
I'm the original owner; interestingly, it had a Mini of Peabody license plate in the trunk. It was used as a loaner for a few months.
It's a low-option car, but I'm a low-option driver.
Not an exciting car pic, but I think it describes my Roadster pretty well. I paid a lot less since low-option Minis apparently don't sell fast.
The day I bought the Mini, I found a pair of union jack sunglasses on the ground in Portland. Here's my friend Britt modeling them as we drive.
Your Mini has all the right options! Winter pack, a must in Maine to extend the top down season. Don't find the fog light option on a lot of Coopers either. Plus getting a great deal on Mini is exceptional!
Most of the 2015 leftovers we saw were loaded. There was a dealership in the Tampa area that had somehow managed to get the last big batch in 2015. Think they had about 25 to 30 Roadsters for sale. Only 2 or 3 of them were "low option". No Winter package or anything and they were selling for window sticker, plus some serious add on paperwork/documentation $$. And they were not dealing in the Summer of 2015. Most of the loaded Roadsters did include Winter package. That was something I didn't expect to see down in sunny Florida, but the dealership guy told us they somehow got allocations from other areas of the country where Roadsters were not big sellers.
Day you bought the Roadster you find a set of Union Jack sunglasses and have "Britt" model them. No strange coincidences there, for sure! :-) Guess that Mini was just meant to be.

Well, Britt's an odd case. Her black and green hair matched my black Mustang with green hood, too. Long story on why the car has a green hood (and why it's temporarily off the road, too).
I bought my 2013 Roadster in Midnight Black in 2015. It was imported from Belgium to the Netherlands and I first configured it in a black and white theme. In 2016 I had it wrapped in 3M envy green foil. The interior dashtop, stearing wheel, handbrake and shifter fabric was redone with green stitching by CM Customs here in NL. Adding a Kermit figure on the dashtop, some floor mats with green stitching and other detailing made him what he is today (last picture) . I hadto lose the tinted foil on the lights because of legislation in NL unfortunately... Today I'm having my leather lounge seats replaced with a set of GP1 Recaro Sportster CS seats

Hope you like it so far
I spent a couple weeks in the Netherlands last fall. What a beautiful country, I imagine it would be amazing to drive around with the top down in your roadster! I love the color.
