Nope, just Duplicolor ceramic brake caliper paint from O'reilly's. While I had each wheel off I cleaned them up real nice, masked off everything nice so no rubber, pads, discs, or openings got any paint on them. I sprayed around them, but wasn't to concerned with the back side that you don't see. As soon as i got the 3rd coat sprayed i mounted he wheel and moved on to the next. They could dry with the wheels on since i wasnt driving it for a while. Took about 4hrs this way. Would probably take 1/4 the time if you had a lift to do them all at the same time.

Was in the 40's today. Most of the pavement outside of town was dry so I went for a little spin. These tires are great! Ride smooth and stick very well.

The new wheels look great, makaveliks. Hopefully, spring is right around the corner.

I have posted this elsewhere here to show off the hood scoop, but I like it so much I wanted to add it to the Photos thread as well. This shot is a pure accident of lighting, I haven't edited it, it's not Instagram-filtered, it's just how it came out of my phone (Nexus 5, not known for having the greatest camera going).

"Bader" as in Douglas "Reach for the Sky" Bader? If so, that is still one of my favourite WWII movies, and he is a British hero, even if everyone thinks he's Kenneth More, the actor who played him.

Whether or not, congratulations on a nice looking car!

Thanks!! Reason one, we used the boot more than the back seat. Reason two, this one was just too good to pass up!

Thanks also!! You're exactly right on the name. Just my thought, a British car deserves to have a British name. The R57 was named for RJ Mitchell, the designer of the Spitfire. Seemed fitting to "Reach for the Sky" in a Roadster.

Thanks!! I haven't seen a bad looking MINI yet, but I'm definitely partial to the BRG.

Nice Roadster! I really like the Black Star Bullet wheels with the dark, subtle viper stripes.

Thanks for the pics!
