The coupe will be ending in near future?

So what do you all think about our coupe getting the axe soon? I personally love my car and I think I will have the highest mileage coupe in a few years. I'm at 25000 after one trouble free year!

From all the posted articles, I would say it will die soon.

Thanks, Braminator. I guess I should keep an eye on the General MINI Talk section of the forum!

None of this surprises me. The year-to-year sales figures of the Coupe have been pretty dismal. That said, I'm glad I decided to buy mine.

As for speculation about value of our Coupes...I view mine as a purchase, not an investment. I'll drive it for a number of years and then sell it for its residual value. I never expect much...

Race to 100k.......longest race EVER! lol

I would take that challenge, but you'll beat me to the punch. Moving in the next two weeks, commute to work will go from 100 miles round trip to about 18 miles lol.

I'll miss driving the car that distance =[.

I like the proposed replacement -- the MINI does Miata -- But, sad, too. I have to admit, I miss my converts (1991, 1990, 1999 (white), 1999 10AE x 2, 2005 Mazdaspeed miatas, and a 2008 MINI Cabrio....

That's a surprisingly short lifespan for that model!

I just miss the toplessness, so I thought that this model may be my *next* car, by the time they get it out and give it a year to find any problems, I might be ready for something new. Don't know yet!
