Trouble Free Mileage On Your Coupe

I thought I would track the trouble free mileage of Coupe owners. If you've had trouble and want to start a thread for that ok but we always hear the bad on these types of forums. I would like to track the good for a change.

Please feel free to update your mileage as often as you please but only post if your miles have remained trouble free. This includes squeaks and rattles etc. Trouble free means trouble free.

I'll start.

1854 trouble free miles.

Thanks for participating.

Pat

1200 miles without an issue minuses the squeaky noise I heard for a while which they fixed in 1 day. Great drive - Great car

We'll let you slide on the 1 squeak, but keep in mind guys this is a trouble free car. It can't be I had a problem and now it's fixed. Trouble free from the get go. No more slides.

Today I'm right at 1,000 miles with no issues, not even a squeak.

That's great news James. I am now at 1905 and all is perfect. Like you not even a squeak. I'm scheduled to take the car in this Saturday at 1 pm for an oil change. I will have over 2K by then. I probably don't need to but it's the old school in me. I did the same for the R56 I had and my wife's R56 as well. I will probably just go with a 6 month oil change routine (More if mileage demands it.) from that point on and then take advantage of the Mini freebee oil changes along the way.

I'm happy your trouble free. I hope to see more Coupe owners join this thread.

Regards,

Pat

1910 miles no real issues. Had a 500 mile road trip last weekend car performed great. Thought there was an issue with right rear wheel noise but it seems it was the spoiler actuator booting up.

I just went past 500 - no problems apart from not being able to get it out into the mountains yet

2012 miles now. Brewster goes into to have his inaugural oil change tomorrow so he'll get bout another 15 miles or so before it's dumped.

My real reason for posting is that I just wanted to state how good this car is running. Still not a squeak or problem whatsoever. I find myself always looking down at the speedo because before I know it I'm flying waayyyyyyy too fast.

I also find myself leaving the radio off so I can just listen to the engine hum. It's great hitting the gas and really nice when I get off. The exhaust note just sounds sweet.

I suppose I will have to drive the GTO soon just to keep the battery up. It sits quite a bit now since the Coupe got here. Obviously it is fast becoming my most favorite car. EVER.

4489 miles without a single issue!
Unless you count curbing a wheel and having that fact broadcast to the world on WhiteRoofRadio. Gabe, what a character.

I now have just over 3200 miles of trouble free driving. It's quieter and more sure and steady on the freeway than my 09 R56. I really like this car.

1,700 miles on our MCS Coupe thus far and not a single issue. It's the only MINI we've owned to date (out of five) that we've not had at least one (minor or major) issue with in the first 1k miles.

Loving the Coupe so far and we've yet to see another one on the road in So Cal in two full months of ownership. I know that wont last forever, but so far, having the only one of its type on the road has been an absolutely amazing experience.

Just over 5k. I had one glitch, but not certain it counts- the Sirius radio got stuck on some top 40 station. Every pre-set, and I could not manually tune it away from whatever channel it was. Did not reset after turning off the ignition & restarting, but it was magically fixed the next day. (It also told me to call to activate, but that did no good- automated or live Indian guy) This has happened twice. I mostly listen to terrestrial talk radio, so I wasn't really bugged by this.

Same thing happened to Pat and me regarding the SIRIUS radio losing its channels. Did it twice in two days, but not since then. Still no issues with the car itself.

3,637 trouble free miles thus far. Brewster is tucked in the garage for a few days. Going to drive the GTO to work for a few. (Real crappy weather. The goat has 113K so I'm not so worried about the filth. LOL)
