R58 Trouble Free Mileage On Your Coupe
Great news James.
I would have a lot more on mine but I split time between it and the GTO. I try to drive the Coupe on non rain days which in the NW is pretty tough this time of year.

Just a hair under 2,500 miles and it just drives better and better. About 1400 of those miles were spent on two trips to and from WV. I hated putting those kind of worthless interstate miles on the car but I must say they were the most fun 1400 miles I've ever driven.
Going to be taken him over to my nephews shop so I can perform the first oil change (which is just now only slightly discolored) this weekend. I absolutely love this car more every time I get in it. I have to admit I take care of it like a baby but drive it like a banshee!

You do live in the Northwest.

I know it's hard to do but I had no choice. The goat will NOT go in any type of snow. The Coupe ran like a champ in the snow and ice. I was impressed. I did put Conti DWS all seasons on it though and they worked great.
Almost a 1000 miles here.Going to be changing the oil next week.
I'm sure in a couple of years from now,us automatic owners will be talking about changing the fluid!

I'm at 4,800 miles. OK, I was rear-ended three weeks after I got it. Then it was 2.5 months before the dealer's mechanic figured out that a new rattle was caused by the hatch lid that had loosened up from the accident. That wasn't Mini USA's fault. The rest has been perfecto!
The R58 is definitely a class above the three R56's I have owned over the past 10 years.

Most of my 5,000+ miles have been on the Interstate and my Coupe is already getting beat up with chips and scratches. Makes we want to use my 2004 Cooper as my daily driver and keep the Coupe for weekends and car shows.
I hear ya with chips. I am really into the pristine and shiny, but can't think of garaging it. Have thought about asking service to install 3M to entire hood now that I have a really bad nick halfway up..
Its an addictive rush to drive so will have to adopt a madmax approach and think function first. Somehow got in/outta NYC today without a scratch, but some really close calls (angel on my shoulder).

Turned 10k miles on my way to a concert last night, after putitng 2.5k+ on the odo during a Tampa/Dallas road trip earlier in the week. Thus far, the only glitch has still been the occasional Sirius tuner getting stuck on "Hits 1" temporarily.
Next month, road trip to ATL.

I just had my wife's car done. $77.55 tax included.
I take my GTO to the GMC/Cadillac dealer in Renton and he charges more. I think the price is very competitive. Since the Mini dealer is only 15 miles from home it's nice.
