Hi All,

If anyone wants to see what the Laguna Green color (B46) looks like on the Coupe, then here's a picture of it for you (posted by MINIBro77):

It's strange that there has already been a Coupe produced in that color as it is not slated to be available until the November, 2011 production begins. I suppose that the Coupe in the picture must simply be destin for a country other than the USA.

Also, if the color interests you, then here are a few things to note about it:

1) It's not available on the JCW Coupe, nor on a MC or MCS Coupe with the JCW Package (which is a real bummer).

2) There's a $1,000 upcharge for this "special" metallic paint color (as compared to the normal $500 metallic paint upcharge). Ouch!

Although, I don't know if you still pay that upcharge when it is ordered with the "MINI Yours Soda" exterior package (3BZ)???

3) Accoring to the official MINI Coupe Pricing and Specifications Guide, the color will only be available for 4 short months!

EDIT: And... I have to say that the Coupe looks none too flatering in that picture. I don't know what it is about the Coupe, but it just doesn't seem to photograph well at all. I've seen it in person and it looks great, but a good majority of the photos I've seen of it make it look uninpiring to say the least.

 

Just a weird angle in the shot which is why it doesn't look flattering. Its box tail is weird looking unless the spoiler is up.

 

Don't mean to offend anyone but that color is ugly. Don't like the Ice Blue color on current models either....just sayin....to each his own, but, man, that is not attractive at all.....

 

I expect that will look really good in person.

 

This looks very much like Silk Green from 2002 that was discontinued after about a year as I recall.

 

My opinion slightly bolder than Silk Green. I like it enough just not for me. That said I can see it making quite an impact with all the soda options.

 

Are these the dealer models already heading to the States?

That color wouldn't be for me either. I don't think its ugly at all just not my style.
Chile Red is the only real color. LOL

 

I think there is only 16 laguna green orders on my region on cooper HT no coupe's yet.

In my experience the ice blue is a winner in any combo, maybe a FL color but I think the longes I have one in stock is 3 days!
