I can't wait... now is just time to watch it go through the build process....

I like this color combination a lot. Have a great delivery day.

 

I added the black and red leather boots on the shifter and e-brake, the Whalen shift **** and e-brake handle, and the CocoMats. The Chili Red dash surface and door rings are factory, available on JCWs only. Non-S and S can have the Rooster Red color line for other surfaces. I know nothing about vinyl, so someone else will have to give you advice there.

Thanks for the info TanCred, I've been able to swap my Hollies out w/a friend from the local club that was craving them for his Clubman. It's a good thing to have a friend like him, he's a MINI-certified mechanic and I'm about to have him do some MAJOR mods for me:

Updating my rear sway bar as he puts in a new set of springs that will lower my Coupe about 1.4" or so. I've found a company here locally that I'm taking my MINI to for some interior work. I've gone away from the vinyl idea, and going with having the parts actually painted w/a clear coat sealer so that the color will REALLY pop and last.

I've tried to get the EOM parts from my dealer, and they failed me BIG TIME! So, I'm opting on this paint mod for my interior boost. Here's a pic of what my Coupe looks like right now, I'll post pics once the mods are done (should be next week). I can't wait!!!

Not a week old already, over 700 miles!

First Mods planned: JCW Tuning Kit ??, Dump the Run Flats.

 

I am now officially a member of the brotherhood. (I guess that' means I'll have to create a sig.)

Unlike most of you, I ended up not getting the custom order I'd designed in the configurator, which was JustaCoupe with manual tranny, Lightning Blue exterior, the sport package with the Infinite Stream 17" wheels & sport stripes, chrome line interior and exterior, silver roof, chrome mirror caps, striped alloy dash surface, and the leather/cloth seats.

No, MiniSF had a blue coupe on the lot, and they were offering $2K off the list price. Why? Apparently, it had been sitting on the lot for more than two months. With a deal like that, I had to decide what I could and could not compromise on.

The toughest compromise was giving up the cloth/leather seats. Not that I'm that big on leather, comfortable as it is, but that option adds the adjustable lumbar supports to the seats.

So here's its configuration:
JustaCoupe with manual transmission
Lightning Blue exterior, silver roof, sport stripes
5-star twin spoke 15" wheels
Center armrest
Bluetooth and USB/iPod adapter

Signed all the papers tonight, I pick it up and drive it off the lot when they open at 9am tomorrow morning, just in time for the holiday weekend.

I've had my new coupe for a few weeks now, delivered on May 9. Just have a couple shots, but it's the first reef blue I've seen in person.
it's dark, but looks great in the sun--baby steps for me since I've always had black cars. Love it!

Very cool. I'm really interested in seeing your Reef Blue in sunlight. If I were buying mine now, I'd probably choose that color.

I picked up my justa coupe on Wednesday and am loving it more each day! The very next day I passed a hardtop and he nodded at me like the Harley guys do. Lol. I went to the post office and when I came out a guy was staring at my car and asked what is that. It's pretty funny how dumbfounded people are when they see it.

 

The showroom lights can only show off the Metallic Lightning Blue paint and the Coupe body just so much... then came a Sunny Day and the great outdoors.

I picked up my 2012 Coupe S yesterday here in PA (Mini of Allentown)

traded my 2010 MCS..will miss it, we put on 54K miles of traveling (MTTS, MOTD, Maine, Alabama) in 2 years and she was a constant ride for my collie (with my wife nav, and her doodle in the backseat)..not so much now...lol
