I'll try and take some good ones. I think your exactly right. The plastic cover is off the tow hook hole.

Hopefully they will have it ready tomorrow but you never know.
Saturday is ok by me as well but Thursday would be better. Of course the weather forecast is rain for tomorrow.

But I'll have the car so

So... apparently my car didn't go into production yesterday as planned, it got held up by the LG stripe issue. It should be going yet today or tomorrow.

However, this does mean my MA was able to sneak in the few changes I wanted. So now I've got the full Cold Weather, Technology (no nav), and Sport packages, and added the alarm as well. That car better get moving before I spend any more money on it.

You sound like me.. I added Technology as well on the day before it went into production.

(No Nav as well)

Tow hook cover?

Is it easy to put the cover in and take it out? Sometimes I travel in remote places and will want to be able to give and receive a pull out of a stuck spot etc. I'd rather put the hook in as needed and not leave it there all the time like I've seen in some photos. I don't see how the cover works unless you can get your hand behind it.

You can pop it out from the front. The tow eye comes with the Mini. It should always be used when the vehicle has to be towed. I would do it no other way. I don't keep it in the slot. I use it only when necessary. You can stow it with the jack etc.

OK, I drive with zest and because I'm in FL, the A/C is still on at all times. And my first tank was 26+, 2nd tank was 31+ (including a mostly 50-60mph 200 mile poker run on local highways). Do you drive to work uphill, both ways, or something???

I Would Like to Introduce Brewster The JCW Coupe

I will not take delivery until tomorrow because of business constraints but I ran down to the dealership and took some photos. It is detailed and all the work is done. The strut bar and the Invisishield is installed. The photos are not the greatest. I was under some time constraints. But tomorrow when I take delivery I will take some more with the Nikon which will be better. Anyway, I guess I can't technically be bolded in the worksheet until tomorrow. I will post back with better shots. The car looks awesome. I love the interior. Pretty cool looking.

Awesome looking JCW Coupe Pat. Kudos!

Not sure I'd want my car sitting out on the showroom floor though. Too many folks opening the doors, climbing in it, touching it, etc.

It just came in this evening and I will be picking it up tomorrow. It will get the complete once over again and the car is locked and not available for "the tour" if you will. They take the necessary precautions so I feel ok.

Looks like they have the Asian King doing loops off the coast of CA. So close, yet so far...

My boat did the same thing. It actually would have reached port a day earlier but did the loop thing down by Ensenada where it's nice and warm.

The port may be full and they need to wait for the schedule in order to get the proper slip.

Put some numbers on the door, and that MINI is a racecar.

Great looking Coupe Pat, can't wait to see ours sitting in that same spot in the near future.

See the Asian King is at the dock now. Two simple changes at the VDC and then the long road trip up the Pacific Coast to Fife Washington for me.

WW website shows that my Coupe was released from customs at midnight and released from the Asian King at 8:21 AM. It should be at the VDC by now since it's just down the street from the Port Hueneme docks. Now let's just hope that there wasn't any shipping damage so that it sails through the VDC in a day or two.

Does that "Liner Release" mean it has been unload from the boat or that it is approved for unloading (mine says it is in "liner release" at 8:21 as well). But the record for my VIN still has the "loaded on Vessel" from 9/28.

Mine shows Liner Released at 08:21 also, my guess is with the number of vehicles its means that its been authorized by the ship to be released to the dock. Lets hope no damage to any of them and for sailing through the VDC quickly.

Hoping for no damage and I'll be going out saturday night with her.

That is a stunning Coupe. The outside is beautiful, but the interior -- perfect.
