I see that 'Enry has booked himself a transatlantic cruise on the Integrity and will be leaving Blighty for Baltimore tomorrow, disembarking on the 29th.

So, he'll spend his first Halloween in the Good Ole US of A, but probably won't be here to join us for our Guy Fawkes Night bash.

The UK options and specs are slightly different to the US ones. But this is a Cooper S with the chilli pack and the sports pack. I've got sports suspension plus, HK speakers, heated washer jet and electric folding mirrors. We get rear parking sensors and automatic air-con as standard.

Loving the coupe so far (apart from a few window niggles you can read about elsewhere). The engine is so much nicer than my 07 R56, noticeably more powerful yet also more efficient, it's some kind of voodoo.

 

Thatcher will be on the same boat. Let the obsessive vessel tracking begin!

Yep. It is my first one. I'm getting a Hardtop but I've been keeping an eye on the Coupe threads too. I debated a lot between the two but in the end I decided I wanted the versatility of backseat for a daily driver. The Coupe is sure a great looking car though! I hope we both make it onto the Integrity!!

Ordered the same spec as yours except the sports suspension... Only 7 weeks to go!!

 

I think the UK chilli pack covers everything you actually need, so as long as you have that (or at least most of the options in it) everything is covered.

Be warned you do get A LOT of people staring at you. Not sure if they are thinking nice things or nasty things but I don't care because I'm having tonnes of fun every time I drive it!

Also it appears that most of the UK cars have the window issue that I am having, but hopefully by the time yours arrives that should have that sorted.

I've been waiting two years for the coupe and when I saw the blue concept one in the metal last august I just had to have one. Clubbie's staying with us, my wife will be having it... under my close supervision! Lol

 

Any idea if your car got loaded onto the Integrity? Mine was loaded up at about noon today Indy time but the ship is still anchored at the South Hampton port. I hope yours makes it on there too!

 

I just emailed my MA, he said "It is still at port and awaiting transport." but I'm guessing he didn't dig too deep. As long as my Coupe has been at the port, and the destination being the same, if yours is loaded I bet mine is too.

My JCW Coupe was born today. An MA (not even my own, ha!) sent me the status earlier today of "155 - ASSEMBLY FINISH /QUALITY CHECK". Finally!

After a week and a half at Baltimore getting some work done, my coupe made it to the dealer today for more work before I can get it. Friday! Yeah for me. (This is my best attempt to get a picture uploaded).

good for you for getting a discount. But if they're having one of these Motor-tober events at your dealer I would take advantage of it. I think this program might be a manufacturer incentive that the dealer gets reimbursed for. (But I don't know that for sure) Since you have to pick up a certificate and so forth that makes it seem like a piece of paper the dealers can cash in. But maybe not... I would have no compunction about saving more money to wait one day, but up to you.

Here are photos the dealer sent me of my Coupe, which arrived yesterday. I'm waiting til next Monday to pick it up so I can get the MotorTober money off. Thankfully I'll be busy this weeking having sinus surgery so I won't miss it too much.
