2014 - New Cabrio Orders

Finally got my order placed for 2014 Cooper S Convertible with Sport, Cold Weather, Technology with Harmon Kardon /Navigation and City packages, chrome line interior and exterior, 17 inch conical spoke black wheels, automatic climate control, black headlight housing, Sport suspension, Rain Sensor and auto headlamps, retractable headlamp washers and mud flaps.

Oh Yeah piano black interior, Black Punch Carbon Leather seats, midnight black exterior and a nice blend of chrome. No stripes maybe add aftermarket

Expecting 8-10 weeks hoping for sooner to Connecticut. Looks like the dealer may have given me one of there slots as its listed as MC chili red

Now the wait. Hopefully will have 2 months of top down weather this fall. Then back to the truck when the snow flies.

Congrats. Sounds like a great MINI. Good luck as I hope you can handle the wait. I am sure it will be real tough.

Our Cabrio is our first convert. But third Mini. We really love this car. Perfect for open air motoring. Congrats. It fun to follow the birth stages and the boat ride. The system will show a wrong color for a while but willshow your cars color when in production.
Picture when it arrives.

Thanks our 3rd covert have an 06 lightning blue and just traded in our 07 laser blue. I see you have the JCW aero kit, we went back and forth on JCW Aero kit or chrome exterior. Landed on chrome line exterior however may add aftermarket aero to it .

This is our third Mini and we do think the Aero kit look good on all Minis. All form and no function but that's what most of the mods that receive.
Again congrats.

Pricing when ordering a 2014 convertible?

Congratulations on your new convertible! We are ordering our 2014 as well and I was wondering what type of pricing to expect? Is it closer to the MSRP, or to the invoice? Thanks!

Right back at you welcome to the 2014 Cabrio club . On a 2014 new order mine was closer to MSRP then invoice. Maybe others here had a different experience. My dealer would not budge much.

This is our 3rd Cabrio have a 2006 and will be trading in an 07. Dealer has been great towork with and service deprtment has been excellent as well.

The wait can be painful but worth it. i have 2 more weeks until production compelted on 9/6. i thin kI got caught in the middle of the summer plan shut down. i have been schedueld for production since 8/9. Expecting delivery late Spetember if the stars align.

Hi folks... I just ordered a 2014 cabrio... Ice blue, S. Waiting to get into production right now... I'm just as nervous as I was when I ordered my Clubbie in 2008 (2009 model year).
And, I just told my husband I've done this... he just looked at me with that "look". Then admitted he had a feeling I had done this.
<sigh>

Congrats it is always better to beg for forgiveness . This is our first order, have had 2 previous cabrio's, and the wait is killing me. Like most I lack patience.

Sheldon it will be kinda chilly in Conn. when your new Cabrio arrives, right. I bet you put the top down on the way home from the dealer no matter what the outside temp is.
I would unless its raining.

Indian Summer time definitely top down unless its raining in fact I will delay delivery if it is raining .

Can usually get many good top down days into November. Nothing like a ride through New England during the Fall with top down. Great time to do the CT wine tour

Post pictures if you can. We love sharing in your new Mini experience.
I bought a new Mach1 and it started raining before I could drive it home, so I had the car flat beded to my house, instead of driving it home in the rain. Pretty sick but it is my thing.

I got my cabrio S late June and I'm loving it. I've had 2 hardtops and a BMW 135i cabrio and this is my favorite. Best car I ever had (only gripe is blind spots - wish it had blind spot monitors, that would go a loooong way)

Pic's will definitely be coming as soon as she arrives!. Now if I tried a flat bed delivery all the ladies in my house, includes every living being...spouse kids and pets, would never let me hear the end of it. A Mach1 is very deserving

Finally ordered our 2014 MCS Convertible last week. I took quotes from many NorCal and SoCal dealers. A couple of dealers would not go below MSRP, others valued my business more! Finally went with Mini of Concord - highly recommend Jason Krupa over there. Very helpful MA, and easy to work with.

Congratulations and welcome to the "Waiting Room" where we all patiently await the arrival of our toys. Post a picture of your build when you get a chance

I wanted the adaptive lights but for what ever reason they were not an option with the black housing

"We don't need no stickin adaptive headlights".

Really, a nice thing to have but been driving over 40 years without them. You will not miss.
My $.02 worth.

Greetings all you Über-happy future topless motorist! Weeding thru all the anxious anticipation I fail to see any mention of wind deflectors. We've a bit over 55,000 miles of topless motoring. We refuse to leave home without ours. It makes for a much quieter and pleasant cabin. Also, consider starting immediate care of your canvas with either Ragg Topp or 303 treatment. 303 needs more care in application because you DO NOT want overspray from the stuff.

Hope y'all have as much fun with yours as we have with ours.

Completely agree I am more intrigued by what is different in the black housing that does not allow this to be an option. I wont lose any sleep by not having them.
