Taking delivery @ 17:00 Pacific time today

Cheers all,

Picking up my 2007 from Mini of Mountain View (i.e. San Francisco Bay Area)
today. I'll try to post pix within a week - I'm having the Hammer & Coop
decals applied on Friday and want to wait until then.

I have to give "kudos" to the dealership; Not only did they NOT charge above
MSRP, they didn't make me leave a deposit and when the car arrived they let
me do all the paperwork via email/PDF yesterday while I was at work.
So today all I do is pick up the car and Motor on!

I should mention I took my other two MC's to Mini of Mountain View for
service (purchased elsewhere) and I collaborated with them as a major
sponsor for an AIDS fundraiser last year. Therefore this may have played a
role in my business transaction with them. However I was not given any
discounts on MSRP but some fees were waived under the BMW Loyalty
program since I currently have two vehicles financed with BMWFS.
(Which had nothing to do with the dealership)

Despite whatever "special" treatment I may (or may not) have received, I
wanted to post some positive words about Mini of Mountain View for anyone
living in or near the San Francisco Bay Area.

Cheers for now!

Who is your MA? Jeff told me that MofMV charged $1,500 dealer markup. I'd sure like to get them to wave that.

Hmmmm, without trying to incriminating myself, I'll say this...

I was told the same thing ($1,000 - $1,500 mark up) upon first inquiry.
However before revealing my current relationship with the M of MV to
the MA he already said they aren't as "strict" as they use to be and that
they'd come down to $500.000 - based on that I figure anyone who's serious
about a purchase they're willing to work with.

Of course I "worked" the whole AIDS fundraiser angle where I got them some
free air time on local TV so that probably helpped a little.

And just as a side note;
Mini of Mountain View deserves recognition for they're generous
sponsorship to the fundraiser. Regardless of "deals" made, I'm inclined
to bring my business to a place that supports the local community.

I got my Laser Blue / W from MView yesterday

Still shaking with excitement one after I picked up mine. Here's a picture after it was delivered to the dealer. I think it looks cuter than in this picture - it'd be great with a surfboard on top

Good Luck with yours!!!

Congrats. I just ordered mine 2 days ago. My dealer doesn't want a deposit either. It's suppose be easily if we want a deposit refund.

Nice colors.. I originally ordered the same specs you have but then changed it to DS/B.
