Yeah, we can all meet at the ice cream shop and general store parking lot at ~4 (the end of the car show). It's basically across the street from the field where the show is at.


Yeah, it's the JCW grill, but there are two different versions... One for the 07-10 Cooper, and one for the Cooper S. So, he will need the JCW grill made for the Cooper.

Not sure. It's hailed here a few times in the past couple weeks. We didn't notice it until last night. I'm too short to be at the right angle to see it.

I think I found a place that can repair it.

Another storm coming through this week... Don't know if it will make it up here or not... Mindy might be staying in the garage some.

Here's the latest pic of our MINI after a pre-MOTD clay and wax. Amazing how much smoother and cleaner the paint is after a thorough clay and wax (although I've only done the front and roof so far )

Aw man, I have SO badly wanted to detail Basil before the trip, but every day we're expecting rain all day until Thursday :( So it looks like he's going to be driving in looking dingy and unloved - we've had nothing but rain for three or four weeks straight here. It stinks.

Nonetheless, soooo anxious and excited! I only have two more days of work until we head out. Can't wait!

 

I'm having the same problem. Fortunately the last forecast I saw said Tuesday should look clear. Yay! I have all day off on Tuesday to pack my stuff, wash the MINI, and play MINI packing tetris.

 

I just saw this was page 99 and it's getting pretty full. 100 is coming up!

Since you guys are talking detailing and graphics I've always thought a United Nations flag would look great on top of an Oxygen Blue Mini.

My springs are fully settled so I took some photos specifically of that. I think the stance turned out perfect - kill the wheel gap but I'm still plenty far off the ground, haven't scrapped on a thing!

They look great! Absolutely love the wheels and the stance on both cars.
Wish I had the guts to modify mine, but I've had warranty issues in the past with other things and don't want any with the MINI. As soon as that warranty is up, though, I'm going all-out! Haha!

If you plan on having kickball right after the panoramic shot, Blainestang, I'm gonna have to say no. We have a club drive (a surprising amount of our club members are coming this year! About 20!) scheduled for right after. It does sound like fun though, and I do hope you have fun. :D


I'm squirming in my seat in anticipation. Just two more days of work and one class left before we head on out to the Dragon!!

 

AC...Molly's Free Maintenance is up now, but I've also had the 3rd Brake Light Pulser installed and was told that it "may" void the Warranty...who cares...these cars are made to and WANT to be U-ified!!

Agent.Cooper, I've moved the Kickball game to 4:30 on FRIDAY (30 minutes after the car show), which means we may want to move our Oxygen Blue get-together up a litte bit to be safe. Maybe to 3 or something instead, unless one of us is actually going to be IN the car show?

Let me know if that works for everybody. Also, I updated the kickball thread if anyone is interested.

 

Hahaaaaaa; I wouldn't be able to make the OB meet if it were moved any earlier. I'll be running back to Fontana right around the end of the car show. :( Lame!

 

We could meet at the car show & walk around together. I'll be going after we come back from the brew tour - my car just won't be in it.
