Wonderful! I know you're having a ball! Don't forget the Dragon (MOTD) next April. I read in other threads there were no OBs there this year. Can't confirm that, BUT, there will be at least 1 next year--mine! Hope you can make it, since it's not far away.

Enjoy your new baby!

Hey TC, Congratulations! That sounds like a great ride (vehicle and trip through the Park).

Make sure to clear a little time in your motoring schedule for pictures since some of us are living vicariously through you all (y'all?) that already have your MINIs!

Your mileage sounds great, and combined with that smooth handling and the grin on your faces (OK, going out on a limb, but how could you not be grinning??), I can only imagine you're having a ball!

Happy Motoring!

Thanks for sharing. That is a great looking car you have there. Love the stripes and chrome exterior also.

Great pics TC! Jim looks like a strappin' new baby boy, all ready for fun. Thanks for posting. Maybe I missed it, but how'd you spec out the interior?

Congrats, new OB owners! Awesome color. Drove up to a MINI club get-together in Charlotte this weekend. One owner asked me, "May I see your baby? I've never seen a "live" oxygen blue before!

The group eats breakfast and motors over to the local dealership. Lo, and behold, another OB! Spoken for, of course, but parked where I couldn't get a side-by-side pic/shot, tho. 2 OBs together would be an interesting shot, n'est pas?

Enjoy! I see that MINI USA has 2009s built into the configurator, AND ... OB is still there! Maybe I missed that on an earlier post, but, in case not ...

We've had out MINI now for about 2 months (seems like a lot longer - in a good way), and have done about 3,500 miles. We seem to average about 39-40mpg with mixed driving. On the highway I can get 42 mpg plus easily. I think I could nudge into the high 40's on a really long road trip. I normally have the AC on - especially on the highway - I think it is probably more efficient that way then having the windows/roof open with the added drag.

No, it's almost empty now. As a matter of fact, when we all motored over there after breakfast Sat. morning, we parked where you took the photo ... just to fill up the space!

The MINI sales business is, indeed, good right now.

Hey all oxy blue lovers!! Today my dad and i were pulling up to a store when i noticed a mini in the lot. I screamed at him to park by the mini so he did. When we got out we noticed it was oxy blue. And my dad was all, "This looks like a fender i used to have!!"

Now he wants an oxy blue mini!

I had never seen the color in person but i must say it is rather pretty!!

Just thought i might share.

Mellow yellow is one cool color too. Thanks for the compliment on O2 blue.

Took delivery of Mae (after my dear, departed grandmother, Minnie Mae) today, at long last! Here's a teaser photo until I manage to take more and put them in the gallery.

Such a fun afternoon and evening. We're motoring... wheeeeee!

What a beauty Mirrim--Congratulations! Thanks for the pic.

Happy Motoring!

I look forward to seeing Mae in all her glory. Looks like a black roof under that black cover, eh? I like it!

I suspect he's having a temporary bout of "MINI Color Lust"....very common.

MINI ownership is a constant delight....but there is something special about those first few days. The newness doesn't wear off much...you just move past the weirdness of wanting to sleep in the garage.

Yep, black top and mirrors! It was somewhat rainy today and hail was possible, so no pictures today. Hope it clears up here in Denver tomorrow though.

i need my fellow oxy blue owners help! I am thinking of getting some kind of stripes either bonnet/boot or side for my little girl. I was thinking since I have checker side mirrors to keep that theme going. Anyone have any pictures of an oxy blue with checker stripes of some kind?

Look at OXYBLUECOUPE's car. Back about 5 or 6 pages.

They're not very good photos, but here's Mae!

I'm also thinking of getting some graphics for the sides. Was thinking something like lightning bolts, not really like the Hammer & Coop thing, but I don't want flames. What do you think about black with chrome or silver edging or even metallic silver flake with perhaps a black shadow? I can possibly see the bolt going from the rear of the front wheel arch, back and up toward the door handles. Any other ideas?
