I've been amazed at how much this color seems to change with varying light levels.

Here's a picture of tedscar on a dark and dreary day. I really like the tone of the MINI in this light.

 

Okay, but to be fair, have you found a light in which you DON'T think oxygen blue looks good?

I don't like the color at night when tedscar is tucked safely in the garage and the lights are off. Sometimes I have to go check on it, just to make sure I do like the color when I can see it.

 

Wow! I just found this thread....so happy to see there is a group of Oxy owners! Everywhere I go people complement me on how pretty the color is! I have to agree with everyone else, this color looks good at pretty much every time of day.

Thank you!! Haha, yeah that would be Sam the Basset Hound. He's a ham and always manages to randomly wind up in pictures. He's not really my dog, but I love him to bits as if he was.

Ditto!!!! I like the look (and driving dynamics) of Coopers, and I love OB, so this thread is like an oasis of sanity and good taste!!!!

I still never see another OB out on the roads...and there are a good number of MINIs around! It's okay...I spend plenty of time gawking at my own car.

Glad you found your way over here LPD! You must have gotten so excited you reversed your OB to BO in your signature (or I'm not up on my lingo). Your MINI sounds great! And it sure doesn't hurt that it's due in port within a day or two. Oh my goodness, can you hardly stand it???? Congratulations!

Well I ordered my mini last Saturday Oct 25th.
Oxygen Blue with white roof
White bonnet stripes
Fog lights front and rear
Xenon headlights
auto dimming rearview mirror
white turn signal lights
chrome line interior

Pretty basic car as I was trying to keep it under 21k
Didn't happen - as I 'm getting the windows tinted at the dealership. Living here in
Colorado it's a good thing to have.

Dealer says 60 to 90 days delivery. I hope to get it by Christmas. What do you think my chances are?
