R56 What Did You Drive Before Your R56?
I sold my 1996 GMC Sonoma (2.3 auto = dog) for a 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0 auto (much faster but now I didn't like it because it was 2wd), then traded for a 2004 Ford F-150 FX4 I found on ebay, which was traded in on my 2009 MCSa.
Wife had a 2001 GMC Sonoma (2.3 auto as well, lol), traded her Dad for his 2004 Pontiac Vibe with tons of highway miles but more room inside and better fuel mileage, tragically got t-boned and it was totaled. She wanted slightly bigger and perceived safer so we found a 2008 Mazda CX-7 (jumped the gun on this as we needed a car and the rental was going away), ended up saying it was too big and hated driving it, traded in on current 2002 R50.

Well I consider the MINI my "fun car" or "weekend toy" mostly, but I do drive it much more than any in the past because of the good mileage.
Here are some pics of some of the other "toys" over years...
2010 Mustang GT, just a CAI and Tune for mods. I traded this for the MINI as I had grown tired of Mustangs and only kept this one for 6 months (burned out on them I guess):

2009 Mustang GT, Vortech Supercharger (putting out close to 500hp):

2007 Mustang GT, CAI and tune:

2005 35th Anniversary 350Z:

2003 Subaru WRX. Cobb Tuning Stage 2 setup, full exhaust, Eibach springs, KYB shocks, Stage 2 brake kit and lots of exterior and other bits. By far the most modified car I've ever had:

2000 Chevy Z28 6-speed. This car just had a "whisper lid" on the intake and a Borla catback exhaust, and man was it fast as hell!!! I wish I'd never sold it.

I traded My 2003 Harley Davidson Road King Classic for My 2008 MCS. I was getting bored with it and wanted something new. My Mini is my toy/hobby. My primary vehicles are a Ford Expedition and a Dodge Charger SRT.
2006 Jeep SRT8 All bolt ons with Heads, cam and 150 shot of nitrous.
2008 BMW 335i well over 400whp - Every bolt on + Meth. Pretty upset I got rid of it before installing the upgraded turbos.
2010 Dodge Ram CC Blacked out. Had it for 5 months then got the MINI!!!
