I've heard people mention trouble tracking the Asian Chorus. Have you called your MA? He/she may have a better idea of where it is.

No, I haven't gotten up with my MA yet. That was my next line of action. I just wanted to see who else was having this problem and whether anyone might have figured out which boat(s) might have left between 4/21 and today.

Also, I am trying to figure a little detail out. I'm in Houston. So do all vehicles coming into the U.S. come in from either the East or West coast, or might my vehicle be delivered to the Port of Houston?

There are other completely different companies other than WW that you could be on, hence why WW doesn't recognize your vin (that's buried in the "How to track your Mini" thread). But again, you'd just have to ask your MA.

Have you guys on the Asian Chorus gotten any updates yet? I'll be curious to see the turnaround you have since mine will be coming in on Monday on the Liberty.

Asian Chorus is coming into port now, so no helpful updates. Depending on how timing works out at the inspection facility, you potentially could have your first, since they are so close together. To my understanding (based on rumor here), paid in full cars get processed first, and I have done that.

Here is the information on the Asian Chorus. it looks like it docked a day earlier than expected.

That is the original schedule though, not early???

I tracked the NY arrival here...
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...=1#post1497095

But I'm an idiot, and now I think I understand that this morning it was making a stop off Manhattan. Now it heads to make a second "NY" stop at the NJ facility (note on the WW schedule there are two NY listings).

Come On Liberty!

Just cleared Titanic waters. Come on Liberty! It's the home stretch.

I'm totally crazy. I have written up a PDF document that I circulated to all my friends showing them exactly how to track my mini.

Called 866 today and they told me possibly two more weeks. Why would they say such mean things to me. I'm a nice guy!

I know the liberty isn't arriving until Monday, but I can't stop checking the progress on WW and hoping to see it pop up outside of Manhattan.

Hey, they finally updated the Owners Lounge to say that my Mini is "en route." For the longest time, it just said "Scheduled for Production," even after my car was built and already on the ship crossing the pond...

Mine just changed too. It was stuck at 'awaiting transport' for days even though it's on the Liberty more than half way across the ocean!

I was down in Red Hook, Brooklyn last weekend at the Piers where there is a nice view of the NJ ports, with lines of ships waiting in the harbor. If I was obsessive, which of course, I'm not... I'd go down there on Monday with some binoculars and a zoom lens camera and see if I can see the Liberty sailing into port.

Mine is now at "awaiting transport" on the OL, where it just changed from "scheduled for production." I have a call into my MA since it seems week 17 cars are en route now.

Ugh, week 17 guys are shipping before mine. Spoke with my MA yesterday though he didn't seem to have any ideas on why my car has been sitting at the port so long. He said he'd call me with more info tomorrow but this is getting annoying.

I think sailwx stops tracking when boats are close to land. AIS is showing it just outside of the harbor now. I've got my fingers crossed that this was the last weekend I'll have to spend wishing I was driving my new car.

I believe sailwx gets ship locations when they report sea and weather conditions (to help other ships). They wouldn't be sending condition reports when they are near a port.

Anyone on the Asian Chorus get an update on their progress? I watched the Liberty go in to port last night but it hasn't cleared yet on the WW site. Got all the details finalized for the car this weekend, so I'm hoping to be able to pick it up this week.

Yea, the Asian Chorus crew is on US soil. We're far enough along that the Owner's Lounge is even updated as "at VDC". So now we're in the murky unable-to-track abyss, where I hear the MA's estimate and Owner's Lounge does say "Estimated Delivery Date 5/4" under "Review Your Order". I don't know how much work they do on the weekend, so can just hope that everything goes quick at VDC and have her by the weekend!

I don't know how many truck trips come in a week, maybe if we're a day apart we'll be on the same truck?

Johnny-I'll still bet dollars to doughnuts that you are on a ship with a different company! Hopefully!

Liberty tracking show my car has discharged. Hurrah! Perhaps I'll have it in time for the weekend?

Excitement growing.

Glad your Minis are inching ever closer. My MA didn't call today and the guy at ASK-MINI said once production completes they cannot track it. I suspect that's not the case but didn't have the time nor the energy to make an issue of it. I still hold out hope that it made another ship but am feeling less optimistic lately.

I saw the same thing tonight as well. I'm crossing my fingers for the same thing. My MA said he will be surprised if I'm not driving it by Saturday .

I called ASK-MINI tonight and it is now saying that my car is "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date." I've heard that other people have had glitches like this happen to them. I'm going to hold out until Thursday before calling my MA to find out if he has any news on it.

So who will be the first to get that confirmation from the MA that their MINI is on its way to the dealer? I don't have any confirmation that it is at the VDC yet. OL is saying that it is en route still and ASK-MINI is saying that it is at port waiting for a ship . You guys on the Asian Chorus could potentially be wrapping up today or tomorrow, right? Isn't a three day wait at the VDC for a car that isn't undergoing any work there a fairly normal wait time?
