Hoping to finalize options this weekend and get it ordered first of next week. That would be an end of August delivery and I know a lot of you know how bad the wait is, so I won't whine (too much ).

News: The Wife unit has given her consent for me to get my own CNC Mill rig. I will be ordering it this week and in the very near future will spit out the first pieces exclusively for the NFR bunch. Sit tight and keep yer eyes on the bouncing thread.

Getting a 3D sensor as well which allows me to duplicate most any small part.

My table will allow me to work on material sizes up to 12 inch cubes.

Ohhh,..I have plans.

 

but nothing with too many intricate crevices and nooks...lest the lint get in

 

A 3D sensor and a CNC Mill....just what is it that you do? Build MINI parts for the black market?

 

I am a programmer and support type person by trade. This other stuff is just stuff I like to do.

NFR is by far and away the most rare of colors on NAM. WOOT! I like being unique! Different! Odd! Wierd! Wildly entertaining! Crazy! Loony!

..a CNC mill.....I hate to admit my ignorance (again!!), but I had to look up what that was....I'm really curious to see what kinds of things you plan to create, Skuzzy.

BTW, I had my CEL come on at 1145 miles.....stayed on for about 40 and went off again.....only message I got was "emissions increased". Since that seems to be a common issue, I didn't worry too much...but I'm glad it went off!!

 

Would look better if it wasn't digitized.

 

Well, the Mill will be ordered this week. It will take a week to get all the stuff together, and another week to get it all setup before I can start using it.

I got an idea that I have been wanting to do since I got Romi.

 

Can the CNC Mill make a NFR Owner's Club badge? I'd invest in that!
