R56 The Official Nightfire Red Owners Club
I knew that once upon a time. I knew a lotta things once upon a time!
Thanks!
Your camera is probably automatically color correcting to make it more red. What kind of camera do you have? Most cameras these days have manual color settings... if yours does switch it to Neutral or any that give you a less saturated color. It also helps to color correct in a photo editing program I use Photoshop. If you are interested in that I can give you some tips and direct you to some tutorials. Let me know.

Ok...It's Friday, and this afternoon I begin my journey to the south. If you see a NFR with Manitoba licence plates...pull me over....I'll be pulling through to San Antonio...then over to Vegas....then thru CO back home eventually (maybe)...
Thanks all. We're in San Antonio and safe now. Got through the storms in OK & Kansas without getting sucked up or hailed on! Wheew! Now all I have to survive is 1 week of work here! Then the rest of the road trip!
Only saw 4 MINI's on the road! No NFR's, but did see one silver with black roof, and one of those Coop lightning bolt designs on it!

Oh yea, the Riverwalk! That's pretty nice. I'd recommend the barbecue place (quite serviceable by our yankee and north-of-yankee sensibilities). And there's a fancy hotel right on the riverwalk, which as of a couple years ago, the restaurant had blue umbrellas and lighter wood furniture--maybe not worth the expense for lunch or dinner, but worth the treat for a nice brunch! But regardless of where you are, lots of Lone Star beer!

My MA emailed today to let me know that "Buster" had arrived 3 days earlier than expected. Will take delivery Thursday and get pics uploaded ASAP. Still trying to decide on bonnet stripes (if at all, then, black or white) and how dark to have windows tinted. State law says 32% but I have 20% on my truck windows and have had no problems.
Cool Bama!!
Am undecided about stripes too. Thinking of the getting black V shaped ones. Definitely want a matte black/black checker roof though. Just need to find the right shop to install it for me.
Getting my windows tinted Friday. Going with 35% all around & 15% for the sunroof. Am pushing it abit with the 35% as 50% is the legal limit here. But I want my mini to be cool... as in temperature... though am sure she will look cool too.
Be sure to post some pics!
