so remind me D, how long as it been and has it been at the dealer or an independent shop?

 

Let's see......I think it's 5 or 6 weeks now, and has been at a dealership autobody shop. The issue was mainly as they began disassembling the car to repair it, they found more damage and had to get the insurance company to come in and approve the extra damage on the claim...and then order the parts....which we know takes time!!!!

 

So is it today Dennis that Bubbles returns?

 

I'm still waiting to hear!

 

They love to torture, don't they! Oh, but you like that right???

 

Well, I got Bubbles back. It was a happy reunion. Turns out they didn't have to replace the hood...they had 8 MINIs in the shop and mixed ours up! I still have the stripes, so I'm trying to decide what to do with him to spice him up a little?

However, there were 2 scratches in the paint on the bumper...he's got to go back and get the bumper painted again....but, he's doing fine. And I put his summer shoes back on too..so he's lookin sexy!

 

Congratulations on the reunion Dennis!!! I hope you two have a great weekend together. CARJOY and I are going on a two day fun run up into the mountains this weekend with a new group called British Enthusiasts. Should be fun!
