so I'm wondering if this is where I should be. I just ordered a NFR MC (4/17 to be exact) and am going a little crazy already. and my MA said it could be up to 12 weeks (also, I use MA without knowing what it means, just that when I've seen it elsewhere it seemed to be in the context of the person who sold you your MINI, so did I use it right? XD)

You are in the right place. This is home for all us NFRers! We can help with the growing anxiety as you await your MINI. Believe me, the wait can be brutal but we're here for you! So Welcome!

Then this is definitely the right place. Grab some chains and a slurpee.

Thank you and brutal indeed, one week down, possibly 11 to go. it's enough to make one crack and start laughing hysterically... not that I've done that yet >.>

o_O chains? my first thought: "but I live in California, I don't need chains!" my second thought: "to strap myself to my chair in order to avoid prison should the wait truely get to me?" ... might be a good investment really

*sips on a slurpee?*

Welcome to the loony bin ira! Some might tell you that the wait will make delivery that much sweeter. But no, it's just pure unbridled agony! Slurpees do help ease the anguish. But as you can tell, it's a hard habit to break.

that's encouraging news roo XD now I wish I neally did live closer to a slurpee machine. my current mode of transportation is a cheapo bicycle (so I indeed think I'll be leaning toward the agony end of things) mayhap I'll have to invent a good substitute... any suggestions?

not my first choice, but you take what you can get, duct tape is just painful and so is the guilt of craze induced homicide.

but then what do you use them for?

LOL! I don't think I could make that thing work! cause if we're talking a true blu..er.. red tricycle here I wont fit, besides there's no good place for a bike lock >.>

(and red foam nose and rainbow afro wig are NOT an option, they are a requirement)

You will have to get the NFR chains from DennisD63, he used them last to chain himself to Bubbles when they were finally reunited.... but he should tell the rest..... just be sure to wash them thoroughly before use!

...um...no thank you? XD erm, I mean maybe yes on the washed chains, but maybe no on a story that leads to the requirement of washing chains?

irianon....Welcome. I'm Dennisd...otherwise known as "THE DATAMAN MAN". I'll be asking you all kinds of intimate details about your new ride...but I'm way to busy cleaning my chains and sippin slurpees. CJ.....Did you tie these balloons into all the links in the chains? And why are they all so greasy?

hello Dataman Man! so do I want to know the story behind these chains? or should this remain a vague mystery I'll never understand and be mildly grateful for said ignorance? (though balloons are always a plus... at least I've always assumed!)
