New Wheels and Tires

I have been wanting to post images in this thread for a while...

Now, I finally have some new images of my MCS with his new wheels and tires. I have had NIGEL for about 3 months and 3600 miles and have begun the endless search for new ways to spend money on him.

Next up - H&R Springs.

They look like 17" ASA JH6 wheels. I have a set of 16" ones that I bought from Tire Rack.

That's what I thought, but the sig said something else, but it looks like those must have been the old ones. since the sig changed

edit: I stand corrected. They look like the ASA, which look like Minilites...ASAs on top. Rotas below. Seen together the Rotas look nicer

Sorry.

I originally had all the wheel-tire info in my sig... then I changed it.

The wheels are 17" x 7.5" +45 Rota RBs in Silver. I ordered them from Mach V Motorsports (Mach V Dan). The tires are non-runflat 215/45R17 Kumho Ecsta ASXs from discount tire direct.

Thanks Dan. I am quite pleased with how they look on the Pure Silver MCS.

I believe that Dan posted 18.2 lbs. for the 17" x 7.5" +45 RB.

I guess they liked showing off the blue cars at the auto shows. This was at the Philly show:

A few new bits and pieces...

I just got the JCW CF wing in today and I really like it! I know there are some people out there that don't like the JCW wing, but I like it a LOT! I'm currently looking into getting the silver parts on it painted Laser Blue so we'll see if I can get that done (and how much it'll cost me)...

We also just installed the Alta catback exhaust (I LOVE the sound of it btw) so I snapped a photo of the exhaust tips

Please excuse my dusty boot I just recently washed and waxed it but you know how fast a boot can get dirty!

I really like the look of the wing. It's the price of it that's kind of ugly. And for almost $700, it doesn't look as sturdy as it should up close.

Is that the carbon fiber lift handle you have on the back?

old versus new

I decided that my old car was just too big. Keep in mind that I'm 6'4".

I'm 6'2" with 36" inseam and one of the reasons I got a MINI was all the legroom up front.

Always liked the unique look of the Scion, but next to a MINI, it makes the R56 look downright gorgeous.
