Augie)5,
Those wheels are righteous. What wheels are they and what size? What tires did you end up with. I just finally mounted mine yesterday.

Thanks locogringo !!

I went back and fourth on wheels/tires and ended up going with BBS RV-F wheels in 17x7.5 with 215/45 tires. Lots of pros/cons for all of the combos but decided I wanted something that was more "OEM like" but much lighter. The con with these wheels is the cost but justified them in mind due to my lower option list on my MCS. I am very happy with them. I think they work very will with my color combo as well.

Hey Krut,

I sent you a couple of PMs about two weeks ago. I stumbled across the pics of your car right after I ordered my wheel/tire combo. Very happy with them and love how they look on my dark silver and black MCS. Looks like these wheels were made for my car!!

You made a great choice. Those wheels are most excellent on your car. I have yet to see a bad looking BBS wheel though. Maybe my next set.

What tires did you end up with? I went with the Dunlop Sport Direzza Z1. I have only put a few miles on them, but they feel pretty nice. Hopefully will get to have some fun on them this weekend.

Well, like my wheels, I waffled on my tires a bit too. I ended up with BF Goodrich g-sport tires at 215-45. I decided to go with something that had a bit better wear rating. I believe these UHP tires are rated at 340 so I hope to get over 20K+ miles on them. They ride A LOT better than my stock run-flats, as anticipated. I only have about 50 miles on them and have not really pushed them yet. Maybe this weekend for me too!

Also, as a note, my car seems quicker than my stock set-up. They are much lighter than my stock 16" wheel/tire combo!

They sure look quicker.

Yeah. I weighed one of my 17"crown spokes with the 215/45-17 Bridgestone RE960 all season tires and it weighed 47 lbs. I wish I had weighed the 16" Enkei and Dunlop set up before I put them on, but I forgot to. According to Tire Rack's website, the combo weighs 35 1/2 lbs per corner. I agree it feels quicker, but it might be just me.

I know I'm a little late to the game in replying to this, but that's basically the exact color combo, stripes and all, that I was considering. Thanx for posting. If I may ask (and if you see this), that is with the factory aero kit, correct?

Nice looking Mini! For some reason, maybe it's the wheels but that picture makes your car look like a toy model!

I think it's the perspective, I thought the same thing. To be honest though aren't all mini's really toys.

Wow... I don't usually go for a protective bra, body graphics, chrome rims... but I like all of it on your car! One seriously attention getting car on the road I imagine.
