BRG is sweet!!

 

Well the first MINI in the family is the "new" sport for the 20 y/o...but given Im 53, MY WIFE, figured the Classic MINI look would suite me best....but after all was said and done, it turned out great!

Thanks, And it is also very,very, fast. I would not have bought one until I drove my sons. I was impressed at the craftsmanship, handling, torque. Hey i'm hooked!!

 

Ha Ha sucker! That first test drive has doomed so many of us. Oh well better to just settle back and enjoy the insanity.

I'm currently working on my father. He's driving a '99 F150 4x4 5.4L around.

 

Those are JCW wheels, I have them on mine 18" w/Pirelli P-zero runflats...I think they were 3500. not including tires. Love-em!!

 

Hey, just let him drive yours. I took my mother a ride and hit 100, she is in her 70's, she says now she is a "Fast" woman!! LOL

+1. Yup. Mini sales people don't really have much selling to do except to say, "Would you like to test drive it?" In my case, the dealer was just prepping a new demo Mini, and I was the first driver. After the test drive, I said, "I want this one."

 

Too cool, that is nice!! Saturday will seem to take forever to get here. I know, I ordered mine, and watched it come across the ocean on the web, it too 10 days just to make thew trip to the states. 2 months in all.....but now he resting comfortably in my garage! Now remember no real fast stuff until 1100 miles...........yea right!

 

Did you request the chrome driving lamps?

Yep, it's going to be a really long two days and an even longer train ride from STL to KC...but it will be worth it.

Thanks!! I've had moments of doubt between ordering it and seeing the pics for the first time. However, now that I see the final outcome, there are no more doubts. I made the right choice for me.

 

I did, I think I got everything except the convenience package. I also had the windows tinted and a guy hand paint black pinstripes down both sides of my two center white stripes and then got him to paint my spoiler as well. Turned out great(see pics). You will have way too much fun when you get yours.
