Please post pictures of your R56 here...

We currently have pictures of forum members new R56s scattered about the forum and I think it would be great if we could compile them all in one thread for future reference.

So, if you don't mind, please show us your R56 !

Thanks in advance.

dean.

The wheels on Vaders ride are AWESOME! If those are what I think they are they only go for $195.00 on tirerack. I sent him a PM and honestly I had my heart set on the 17" ASA JH6's because of the retro look, but those wheels there which I believe to be the 17" ASA AR2's are amazing and would look great on my BRG w/ white roof MCS (once I get it) The finish is machined w/ anthrasite accents. The nice thing about those rims too is they have none of the faux rivets like the similar 17" ASA AR1's in silver and black, but if you like that look more power to you

Klasse Act, I replied to your PM.
I have the 17x7 AR2s Tire Rack price is $159 US. Oh, they DO have the faux rivets, they are part of the anthracite so they don't stand out as much.

mcdbrendan - I replaced the wheels and tires as soon as I got it home from the dealer. Stock tires have only 36 miles on them.

How do you post a photo so it opens large, not as a thumbnail?

I agree it's a great thread. It would be more useful into the future if it was restricted to photos only, without comments (as much as we love to comment, and, in fact, I'm doing so at the moment...).

As of now there's only 3 different cars and a pageful of discussion. Extrapolate to a couple of hundred cars down the road and you can see that as a resource it becomes pretty unwieldy.

I was thinking the ASA wheels pictured on Zonker, the ones with the anthracite accents, would look mighty purty on a DS MCS.

I can't believe I'm thinking about wheels already.

Personally I like the stock wheels on the Mini, especially the crown spokes which I would've gotten but I was a bit confused when looking at the website. I thought you only got perf rubber with the crown spokes and runflats w/ the webspoke for $500.00 more. Then, when I went into the dealership w/ my deposit, I saw the webspokes and really liked them. Oh well, the crown spokes are winter wheels anyways and the ASA AR2's are going on my car when it comes in. I plan on ordering them when I know for sure what day the car is coming in. Selling my winter beater will more than cover the price of these wheels, what a bargain at $159.00 per

Very confidence inspiring comment!

I grew to really love my R53 over the years too, so I'd imagine a similar "growing up and old together" process with the R56.
