If you only knew the road I traveled to get a Mini. Had to convinence her it was a good idea, then leave some Mini books laying around, putting Mini desktops on the family computer, asking her to go for a test drive as a Gift to me.

Flash forward almost 2 years... and she wants to always be driving it! Haha.

If we could swing it, I would buy her a convertible but that is just not possible.

Got my new wheels and summer tires thrown on the other day and I had to snap a few quick pics. Just waiting on the center caps to get here, they were out of stock. Also threw my badge replacements from AC on the front and back emblems to complete the appearance package

I picked those up from Aesthetic Creations myself. Quick turnaround on them too, it only took a day after I placed my order to get them shipped out.

Question, what's the deal w/ your gas cap lid? Is that stock? or did you take a lid from a "just a cooper" and put it on your "S"? I've seen a few MCS's w/ a gas lid ...not cap, yet I thought that all R56's came w/ a cap and no lid? What's the deal??

Also, I don't see the little round cut out on your front bumber ...the one that I think is used for a tow hook. Is that photoshopped out? Or did you get a bumber that didn't have that hole cut out? -I ask because I don't like the little round cover that's on mine.

Here they are ...my car is still a work in progress.
Under the hood I have a DDM street intake, Helix FMIC, Alta boost tube, and a CF strut bar. (I should probably include an engine shot at some point).

I replaced the Cooper S gas cap with the Cooper one to clean up the lines a bit (the same with the side skuttles).

The hole for the towhook is still there, it's just covered in vinyl. I need to wrap the actual cover that goes over the hole, but for now it looks fine. It looks invisible because of the color, it has the effect of hiding all kinds of imperfections.

Now, if anybody is interested in trading their Cooper wing for a Cooper S wing, I'm willing to trade straight up for one. Please PM me.

is the DS a non S? Do they offer DS over there for non S? i thought it was only an S color... unless its a S turned sleeper...? i cant see exhaust shot to be sure..
