GeoBem007, I love your ride! It's very close to what I'm aiming for with mine, except I don't think I have the patience to deal with white wheels.

My ride is Lightning Blue, and I'm really curious to see how the headlight-rings and rear chrome would look when colour-coded. Obviously it works great on yours. Have you ever seen it done in Lightning Blue?

Last Saturday was PhillyMINI's bi-annual detail day. I clayed and waxed my car for about 4 hours. Here's the end result!

How did you remove your stripes? I've been thinking of doing this myself but havent got a clue on how to go about it.

Very nice, nice details. But needs some lowering, badly imho

Interludio44: Haven't seen it yet, but I believe it's always a good result if you're not having a lot of chrome, certainly when working with white details. I believe that chrome & white do not match so if I were you, I'd colorcode it!
It's not that hard to Photoshop it, too. You should ask someone who has some PS-experience to do that for you, you'll get a pretty good idea.

I like the color line... How'd you do it? Did you buy it from the dealer or paint them?

Just curious if you looked into the factory roof rack w/ kayak carrier ? or is that only meant to carry the little play/white water kayaks ?

Freshly dropped on NM Engineering springs, with the NM engineering 22mm rear sway bar.

Quick shots from the alley behind my apartment. There's a huge parade in my neighborhood today, so no where to do a real photoshoot. They'll be coming sometime soon.

BEFORE:

After:

Rear camber isn't too bad, I may just get an alignment and see what they can get out, and leave it as is. It doesn't seem like it's bad enough to seriously cause abnormal wear.

I just lifted a corner of each one, and started to pull. Each one came off in one piece, so it was suprisingly easy.

Thank you! Believe me, I know. Parents wont let me mess with my suspension- yet.

Thanks man! It was actually really easy. About 20 screws (if that) hold all the color line dash parts on; the door panel parts just pop off. All you have to do is find them all and pop off the push button start section, and you have them off. Reverse those steps to install the new color line parts.

I traded a friend of mine his rooster red for my dark grey, worked out nicely.

and speaking of not calling people out, how about you take some of your own medication, eh? i wasn't the one that brought the fake bbs's up, but i understand where that person is coming from. i wasn't aware that i was only allowed to have an opinion if it wasn't negative. and by the way, if you'd bother to read either of our entire posts, we both gave compliments before mentioning the fake logos.

sure thing. here you go. interior lines up with the MINI wings, outside lined up with the windshield washer nozzles...

i have since updated it with colormatched headlight and grill surrounds, and had the stripes re-done so they are a little more clean around the scoop and grills. i have some picks, but have been lazy about uploading them. i'll find my camera and rectify the problem if you like...

Looks awesome, but on a 2009 I don't think it needs to be clayed already unless you drive through a blast field all day long, lol

It's actually an '07. And had never been clayed before. I was amazed at how much crap came off on the clay.
