im so glad you showed me that picture!!! it's so bad ***. i have to get it now!!!
the bracket that is towards the back of the door opening is attached to the bar that goes all the way down the roofline which in turn holds the rear roof bar down. the rear roof bar just sits on the roof through the tension on that bar that goes down the roofline. so i can slide that rear bar all the way down the length of the 2 bars that go down the roofline. i dunno about ratrod but i see alot of offroad trucks with the spare on the roof. i wanna get a setup on my roof rack like this VW's hahaha
kinda neat, but i think you've gotta have the whole package to pull it off.
i just like that my car has form and function anyway you look at it. i have a small speedy car that looks great, and a small trunk space doesnt stop me from being able to go camping or kayaking. i like the way my look is turning out so far.
What? So thats not you driving fast with a car ahead taking pics? How do you get such a good motion blur?
i really like this pic man. how did you have the rig setup? was it on the car infront of you or on your car? i can make a pic almost as good as this on Photoshop but i really like how clean this one is.
minigz-i like em, but i think they'd look better if they were wider =]
maaij - nice ds/b! we got a similar look going on, but i threw in the extra red accents
dah-veed- my ds/b woulda looked like yours basically if i had gotten the webspokes i ordered- but they messed up my order and i ended up with free jcw r105s =p very nice still- since you're doing some black out, have you thought about taking off the outer piece to your webspokes and painting that black? that would leave you with a polished lip look and a black face of the rim...! =]
heres some shots of mine recently
...getting lowered this week im pretty sure =]
tow hook is now also gone

what i would like her stance to be (with wider tires and maybe spacers in there)

for the photographers =p

and, stripes to be finished all the way down soon too =]

Example of rig shot:

They involve a lot of work. You'll need a rig, for one (should run you about $250-$400 for parts), a DSLR, a UWA, a circular polarizer (not required but really useful) and a neutral density filter and some good photoshop cloning skills.

That looks like a blind turn, how could you know no one was coming?Either way, well worth the risk
