Excellent color choice. Take lots of pictures. Somehow it never looks that good after it leaves the lot. At least not of you're as lazy as me washing it.

Enjoy your new ride....

If I ever move, two criteria in selecting a location will be broadband access and

NO FRONT PLATES!!!

Luckily, where I live now I have both (just got broadband a few months ago).

Good luck with that. With all the video cameras going up all over the country you will have to have a front plate eventually.

I don't really like it ether but the choice in Ohio is a string of $80 tickets or a $50 no holes kit to put my sweet custom plates up front. It was a easy one.

I guess. Maybe they'll switch to Euro style skinny ones (in my dreams). Blew through a bunch of yellows going through Philly before I remembered they have cameras all over the place. Hope I don't get any fines in the mail.

Lovin' my new grillwork

Yes plates come with the territory here. I do see many cars running without front plates here. Me I don't need a ticket & the associated costs so I live with my front plate. It really doesn't bother me on my MINI, but man the Miata just looks so much better without one.

jascooper, is that snow from today?? I saw you popper the snow shoes on. Just in time I guess.

EDIT**** Love the Cooper grill. Was it hard to install?

Yeah, that snow was today. I didn't even know the forecast when I swapped my wheels last night. Divine intervention I guess.

The grill wasn't that hard to do, but it's not a straight swap. For some reason they put tabs and connectors in different places. A Dremel tool is almost a must. I don't know about others, but I needed the bottom trim piece from the MC to make it work.

I'd recommend chrome mirror caps to complete the look. Ordered chromeline exterior on mine largely because I like the chrome boot handle. I also noticed that the configurator now has chrome crown spokes for $3k.

Yeah, I've been thinking of getting the no-holes bracket for my Z4 but never got around to it.

Just my luck that I got pulled over for speeding last week (did not have the radar in the car, that's another problem) and the police officer made a point about how it was illegal to not have a front plate on the car. I thought for sure he was going to give me a ticket for it, but he did not. He even let me off easy on the speeding ticket. To say I got lucky is an understatement!

I don't mind the look of the front plate/bracket on our MINI or the E90, but the bracket looks horrible on the Z4 and I was lucky it was in the trunk when I took delivery, so it never got put on.

Lucky!!! We still haven't heard our first snow yet and I'm only 75 miles away. :impatient The photo and your MINI are stunning.

Regarding the front plates, my cool custom euro-plate will be arriving this week so PA better not mandate front plates anytime soon.
