Yup, I'm in San Jose.

I *did*, in fact get the anthracite header - sight unseen.

Let's see if I can get them all... Pepper White MCS, black roof and mirrors, black stripes, redwood leather, piano black color stripe, anthracite header, white turn signals, all the packages, web spoke wheels, nav system.

I can't wait to post some pictures in a few weeks.

 

My MINI is at the dealership. I'll be picking it up on Thursday.

 

Just got an e-mail from my MA. My Mini won't be here until early next week The wait is killing me.

My MINI is at the dealer. Unfortunately, the Certificate of Origin (CO) is not. Basically, the CO states the dealership is the owner of the car. I can't take delivery of the car until the CO arrives, which my MA said either Wednesday or Thursday. So, I will be taking a trip to my dealer after work on Wednesday to inspect the car. If everything's ok, I will take a day off of work on Friday and enjoy the long weekend with my MINI.

 

NICE! You have most of what I have but I don't have "all the packages" and they started charging for the white turn signals so I decided to wait on those and do it myself. I did get the black roof/mirrors, redwood leather, piano black, cold weather package, dual sunroof, and anthracite header. The reason I asked about the header is I was SOOOO happy that I made that choice. It makes a HUGE difference in the ambiance of the inside and adds to the "sexiness" of the black and red. I love it so much more than I even imagined that I would! I hope you do too and yes, let's show some photos! Like I said, I'll have more up this week.

Any luck with your car? I noticed that you posted your expected delivery date from OL. Yours was 3/24 and you haven't gotten your car yet, is that correct? On the OL, it says my expected delivery date is 3/30, but my MA says I probably won't be picking it up until Friday, 4/6. I just wanted to see how accurate the estimated delivery date is from OL.

So, yesterday I called ASK MINI and was told that my car is at the port awaiting a ship... Well, that's certainly interesting. I got a call from my MA today that the car just arrived at the dealer! I can't wait to go pick it up.

 

My MINI arrived at the dealer on Tuesday, March 26 instead of March 24 as OL stated. I'm getting off work early today to come down the dealer to check/inspect the car. If everything is all good, I will pick up the MINI Friday. BTW, I will post some teaser pics tonight.

Same here according to OL my expected dilivery day is 3/30. But it will not be ready for pick-up until early next week.

I would've pick up my car on Tuesday but the Certificate of Origin (CO) wasn't in yet. The CO is shipped by FedEx from Oxford and basically states the dealer is the owner of the vehicle. You need the CO to register the car. According to my MA, the CO is not shipped with car for security reasons and usually arrive 2 days later after the car comes in the dealer.

 

The Golden Fan is now scheduled to get into Charleston SC at 4:30am on 3/31, about a day behind schedule. Guess it DID catch those waves. :(

I'm not so hopeful about getting my car during my break next week... bummer. However, it's still looking to get in earlier than the mid-April I'd figured on, but not by much!

Where is you Mini heading? Good news is it seems that they are getting Minis out of the VDC at a preety quick pace at Charleston.

 

The "Trianon" is 2 days behind schedule as well, getting into CA on the 31st. Just hoping to have my mini before next weekend!

Anyone other west coasters on the "Trianon" ?

My MINI got off the boat on Saturday, and it arrived at my dealer today. It didn't spend much time at the VDC, either. Four days for the VDC and transit (not that far, though) is pretty impressive.

How far? Mine got off the boat saturday as well and has to go to Nashville. Wondering when it will arrive. OL says estimated delivery date 3/31, dealer says that is to him.

Anyone know if the VDCs are 24/7 operations?

Mine gets in at 4:30am to SC, if it stays on schedule. I dunno if it sits for the weekend, or how far it is from dock to VDC, etc. I'd love to think mine could be at my dealer by Tues/Wed of the next week! (I'm in Orlando, and I know there are 13 other Minis due to head down that way as well, should be a truckfull!
