Think we can all begin to relax a bit now. A WW ship is on its way to pick our motors up in Southampton. Should be there tomorrow. At the moment its in Zebrugge.

 

My MCS will finally leave Southampton tomorrow on the Asian Emperor! same as the boat your on Brit boy.

Hey, good to hear that the ships are catching up with the MINI production rate. I think mine should be in Newark, NJ today getting it's land legs (wheels) and partying with the other waiting MINIs. It's funny I never humanized cars before, it just seems natural for the MINI though.

My car has been booked on the Taipan and is supposed to set sail tomorrow 2/1/07. After 2 stops in NY and MD its scheduled to arrive in Charleston on 2/14/07

 

Can't seem to locate the Asian Emperor to track it......anyone found its current whereabouts?

 

I'm booked on the Taipan also. Looks like early March delivery. Oh well.

 

How many digits are there in a production number?

I got mine but cant' log into the owners lounge with it yet. Maybe it's too fresh? I have been confirmed for week 10, and I "have the longest list of options" the MA had ever seen. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

 

Yeah, me neither, and I found its old call sign, VIN and all. It looks like all those without names are using 44*** or something like that for call signs though - nothing like the 3FKB9 that I found for the Asian Emperor.

I was amazed at how many ships there are though! And through this thread, I actually recognize some of them - the Freedom and Liberty are mid-Atlantic now, and the Don Juan is almost to shore.

There are 7 in mine. It may be too soon for the owners lounge, you can always call 866-ASK-MINI and see if they have you listed. They had my info before the website did.
