Saw those on Mini2... I'm glad I ordered it. I'll be getting a black roof... My MA emailed me over the weekend and said mine should be built in January with a delivery of late Feb early March!!!! Can't wait.

Finally! I was just complaining to my wife yesterday that there were no confirmed sightings of Lightning Blue.

But...

I think it'd going to be DS/DS or DS/B for me. AB is even back in the running now.

I'd hoped LiB would be a bit more interesting, but it's just not my color.

Wasn't there a color called Oxygen Blue that was supposed to be on the 07's? Bright and cheery looking like Electric Blue?

 

Yeah, for the Coopers only. Kind of a light sky blue or something.

Lighning Blue looks better than some of the earlier pics... but still not as dark as I hoped (read: Indie Blue). I'll be sticking with Dark Silver/White, I think...

 

whoa ... so wait a minute ... what happened to the color that was in the configurator before named Lightning Blue????? ... it's still in the lineup of cars before the configurator launches ...

now that was a nice blue ... what the heck is going on?

 

Yet another in the line of Indi-no-Hyper-no-Lightening Blue...

The more I see the R56, the happier I am to have an R53.

 

Space Blue I think is the true predecessor for Lightning Blue.

I wish they'd provide Cool Blue for the hardtops. Or bring back Royal Grey.
Maybe Purple Haze. Then I'd have some deciding to do.

allways rainig yes we dont like the sun 3 years ago it rained in scotland somewhere for 108 days in a row when you consider that scotland will fit into ny state 2.5 times you dont have to travel far to find rain

 

I like the Lightning Blue....I am seriously considering it for my first MINI.

Lightning Blue looks an aweful lot like Hyper Blue to me.

 

if you go to mini.com try the roof design it shows the colour together & hyper & lighting are oh so close
