R56 r56 frame rail measurement request

r56 frame rail measurement request

Normally I can find these measurements in shop manuals (for collision corrections) but not on the r56 manual I found online.

Can someone be able to provide the measurement between the flat vertical surfaces? Basically the dimension closest to one another before the crash tubes. Thank you.

maybe, depending if r56 is any much wider between rails. If not, no point.

Here is the same page from the R53 section. Looks like the R56 has more room between the rails.

It's a bit difficult to tell. The r53 measurement points are a bit closer to the inside than the r56's taken mid-point. The frame rail seems a bi fatter and curving inwards too on the r56. Interesting that the 53's are asymmetrical. I should be able to figure it out given the drawings are to scale
