I'm keep buying stuff till i fit them all together in my baby boy!(JCW N18)
Now because of i'm almost finished i have this question..
Should i make ALL of my tubing in silicone for both coolant+air or not?
I 'm not expecting to earn something besides the "insurance" that everything is new+enough and it will last longer without any cracks like plastics etc...I might earn something with the inlet hose etc but this is not the main reason(any extra response/power is welcome ofc)
After some research i find out that these are ALL the hoses that mini have an i can replace them with silicone hose....PLEASE correct me if im wrong.
1..Is there any pipe missing?
2.Is there any pipe that is double and i cant see that?
3.Will all theses pipes fit in my N18 +Aem Intake+Wagner Cooler?
4. ANY -CONS except the money/cost? Any better solution for hoses in general or for some...For instance hard tubing and not silicone?
5.Should i avoid any brand or should i choose a specific brand??Personaly i believe that most of them made from the same factory with same materials/machines and different labels....However is that correct? Should i go with Samco?Forge?Mishimoto?Ikon?Mtc? or should i avoid any of them?>

Before you decide on silicone for the coolant hoses, do your research and see if that’s what you really want to keep up with and maintain. You will lose volume of (coolant/water) liquid through the silicone hoses because the pores are larger than that of rubber. They are in fact longer lasting and more durable but they have that drawback.

Yes i'm aware of that and that loosing its like meaning i will add 2times more of coolant and that is fine for me...Id rather waste some $$ more for fresh coolant and be sure of my hoses rather than having cracks etc etc.
Any help idea for the rest of the questions i made above?
I would really appreciated if you could also help me with them.

It’s more than just losing some coolant, it will seriously skew your coolant/water mix ratio depending on how you address the issue.
As far as other stuff being Silicone, go for it.

You can only see the intake system piping (black silicone pipe on turbo to carbon pipe, then carbon pipe to MAF) and some of the turbo to intercooler piping (blue hose on turbo) in this photo.
The black rubber hose in the top left corner is the one I have on the need to replace list.
I don’t follow the above but maybe some one else with silicone hose experience can chime in and help me understand better?
I have the Mishimoto cooling hoses. Added them maybe 3 years ago? I haven't noticed a significant loss of coolant over the past few years and 50k+ miles. I remove my coolant expansion tank when I change my oil filter, and just top it off with coolant mix when I re-install it. It is maybe down 1/2" from the tank mid-seam after 10k miles. Maybe. But, I don't have any data that says its from weeping out the hoses, or just from heat expansion / contraction of the system. The fill level is always between the HOT and COLD level marks.
