AUX input - sound only out of right speakers

our 2011 r56 just started where it's playing music just out of the right speakers when using the aux input. i've tried different cables and no change. the phone plays in stereo on my home stereos through the headphone jack.

anyone else experience this?

would i be better off taking the car to a place that installs stereos and alarms vs my local mechanic to try to get it fixed?

I would take it to a car audio shop

Does the car radio play in stereo? If so then you probably just need to pull the USB jack and see if the wires are properly attached or need replacement of the jack itself.

you mean re-seat the aux input cable from the back of the radio? if so, do you know how to remove the radio? was searching around but haven't found anything yet on that.

the regular radio and satellite radio work fine. it's just when using aux.

I was more thinking of checking it on the other end near the jack, both probably both ends would be a good idea. Check newtis.info for removing panels and parts.

Giggle it. My dealer installed AUX sucks. SOmetimes a quick giggle of the AUX plug does the trick.
