R56 R56 oil filter housing
Suggest you contact MarioKart or RPM Canada directly. Last time I contacted them, this was part of an upgrade still being developed. Also, it may not be available separately from the other upgrade parts.
Hi Mario. Nice bit of kit and looks to fit the bill for a customer project. Got a couple of questions though. That oil cooler is sexy as hell but do you know if the plenum on the pressure and return side is a split design or a common plenum? Just trying to wrap my head around how to weld a split one to prevent crossover. Also, did RPM provide any numbers on pressure drop? I see they provided a return port for the turbo drain line and a coolant out port to provide for the aux pump. Did they also include a one way check valve like the factory housing or do you have to install the oil filter below the adapter to prevent it back draining into the engine? If so is there an alternate location for the filter adapter further away from the downpipe? Without the filter housing to secure the aux pump to does the kit provide another mount? Lastly is it available anodized? It looks great as bare aluminum but I'm thinking long term. I'd rather have it anodized than corrode. Probably more of a concern for those who live where they salt the roads in winter but still something I keep an eye on living near the ocean. If not I can have it anodized locally. BTW two more thumbs up on adding the two ports to the top of the filter housing. Makes for a convenient place to add oil pressure and/or temperature sensors.
