Oil Temp Gauge install on 2011 MCS - new sensor position?
Has anyone has explored the possibility of installing a gauge related oil temp/oil pressure sensor near the repositioned oem oil pressure sensor? Looking at the RealOEM site for the N18 motor, the sensor is now on the oil filter housing -

... in that diagram, there apppears to be a possible tapped plug just above the sensor. Anyone had a chance to open that plug to see if a gauge sensor will fit?

No answer and have about decided to just bite the bullet and get an oil pan gasket... Plan is to drill a hole in the oil pan at the first oil change (be at 5K miles, pull the pan and drill it, off the car). Got this from Amazon today - Derale 13010 Universal Drain Plug Kit with 1/8" NPT Plug (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CJ0626) and will probably use the flat side of the pan on the passenger side... Maybe installing this weekend if I get a gasket...
