ebay projector headlights

Anyone saw or has thought about buying these?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-11...ht_4610wt_1165

i know they are from ebay and the quality and projector cut-off will suck. Hey, they are cheaper then oem and with a simple swap of the projector you'll have a nice and sharp cut-off/light output.

not digging the halo tho.

any other input?

If you don't dig the halos and want to change the projectors, just do a retrofit from the get-go. The retrofit source. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/

Not a huge fan of the wiring, looks cheap. The price is for a set though? Decent deal.

i have done a lot of retro's for my previous vehicles. But with my mini, i wanted to keep it simple and not cut the reflector bowl. That was the case with the retro fit source projectors.

i swapped in and rewired the stock bi-xenon headlights but i dont have the washers to cover the holes(I dont see my self spend 50$ a piece for the washers) . and i dont have the high-beam(always on) option unless i rewire it again.

Good points, the retro isn't as easy as it should be with the threaded base morimotos.

What did the stock headlights cost you?

I have similar ones on my 02.. they work great, although the wiring is a little weird.

Which is why I was asking becasue I have retrofitted D2S projectors in my '09 but nothing is every as good as a factory housing and projector.

you are mistaken, especially with the mini/bmw projectors. the output and cut-off is terrible compared to aftermarket or even oem acura tl/tsx or lexus rx which are beautiful.

maybe i am asking for a little too much here, but if the morimoto h1 projectors from the retrofit source actually were plug and play without involving modification, then i would be a happy man.

+1 it was worth it, but not something I would want to do again. I said that on my last retro too, FX projectors in my 2003 Ford Ranger.
