The new Minis have a neat bar on the front grill. Are there any mfg making similar for our R56s?

I have seen lots of F56 MINI's lately. Gotta say, not a fan of the big protruding nose. I will just stay with my R56 bulldog face. No offense. Just seems to make a MINI bigger, which goes against the entire idea. Yes, my R56 is bigger than an R53, but have you stood next to an original MINI? Those were seriously TINY! Getting further away from the intention of the original seems like giving up at some point.

Nothing yet unless you take the lower lip on the R56 and paint it red or make your own. If something comes out I will let u know.

Here is a video I found with the red trim piece on the grille of an R56. The little details on this car makes it look really clean.

I've seen R56's with the lowest bar of the grille (not the grille surround) painted red, and I've seen one other car with the finisher rod above installed....the red looks nice -- very JCW.

 

Possible, I cant really tell on that grille. Looks much wider then the F56 mod.
