I had a very hard time getting mine in the US. No one could order one for me except for Tom Bush MINI from Jacksonville. Their parts guy, Luis, was able to order one for me from Germany and he shipped it direct to me since I am not local to Jax. Give him a call - (904) 371-4351.

If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for the grille?

Part no. is 51137393456. My friend at ECS Tuning said they can get it. Cost is ~$93 I think.

Yes - Part number is 51137393456. I had checked with ECS Tuning at the time and they were not able to get it. Might be available for them now though so worth a try.

Tom Bush MINI had to order mine direct from Germany and I paid for expedited shipping so it came out to be like $150 or so. I am sure if you can find it state-side it would be cheaper.

DIY! This is simple vynil, just let the car heat and there's no problem to wrap the sticker on the chrome. It looks more cherry red in the picture but it's a bright red. I'm looking to get the rest of the grill blacked out though soon also.

Is that JCW badge removal/replaceable?

I like the look, but I don't want the badge

says blacked out...does this mean even the chrome outside trim is black and the strip in the middle is red?

The chrome surround is a different piece and not available in black. I had mine wrapped in piano black

I picked it up this week as well. Haven't put it on yet, though. Going to wait for my chrome to be wrapped and my accent stripes to be installed before changing the grille...

...and yes, I took the red strip off, to wrap as well.

Also got these:

mct, when you had your chrome trim wrapped did they need to remove it from the car or were they able to do it in place (as it were)?

Or did they just pull it off at the same time as the grille replacement?

I ordered a separate chrome grill and had it wrapped before my car arrived.

Did you remove the front bumper to install it or were you able to do it with the bumper in place? Seems like a tight squeeze to remove it with the bumper in place.

Any thoughts or advice on bumper removal? Anything to do (or not do) to make it less annoying?
