Pelican Parts lists NGK ILZKBR7B-8DG as the stock replacement plugs for the 2008S N14.

 

Definitely wrong. Sometimes the auto parts stores computers have old or incorrect data. Last week I ordered a set of EBC Redstuff front pads for my '09 S. The ones they gave me didn't fit; they turned out to be the correct pads for the R53 but didn't even remotely fit the R56.

 

This thread says ILZKBR7A-G for R56 S and ILZKBR7A-8G for R56 JCW. I just got the 8G for my R56 S.

 

You can always use real OEM to compare part numbers for correct parts for your MINI. It calls out part number 12-12-0-035-531, which our NGK is. All of our suppliers list ILZKBR 7B 8DG and it could be that the part has updated since that thread was created.

They gave you plugs for a 08 convertible which is a R52 chassis with the W11 engine not the N14 engine in the R56 chassis

 

ILZKBR7A-8G (NGK 5992) is no longer available. It's been replaced with ILZKBR7B-8DG (NGK 95770). This can be verified on the NGK (USA?) site. Whether or not it's the right one for your car is up to you to determine.
