White stripes

Has anyone seen a pepper white MCS with pure white stripes? I really like the idea but not sure if the contrast will just make the rest of the car look dirty.
Thanks. Also, the band is awesome.

I honestly don't think I've seen that combo before. I've seen black on black, but the white might make it look dirty like you said. Maybe if you did pepper white stripes with pure white pin stripes on the outline of them?

You could always just put pinstripes on only

It would probably look similar to this...

but with more contrast. Those stripes are WC50 JCW signature stripes which were Pepper White. The license decal is pure white and pure white stripes would have the greater contrast. I am leaning towards going with some pure white stripes outlined in red myself.

I did a "build" of your idea on the miniusa site and thought it looked good. Then I went to bottom "Accessories" section and added the chili red hub caps ($48) and the chili red JCW Pro side stripes ($92). Actually thought that looked pretty nice.

I like that "pinstripe" hood look. That's really sharp on that white car and could be done with any color.

When the air is still, you could always put a couple strips of TP on the hood to see how the tone on tone looks. But probably best if none of the neighborhood teens saw it. No need to give them any ideas. I do think the pin stripe option looks sharp!

Felt like changing things up...

OK, so I've been wanting to do a bright white stripe on my Pepper White MINI. Finally had the time to work on it and this is what I came up with.

I am not finished yet but I wanted to take some photos before I completed the look in case someone wanted to see what a white stripe looks like on Pepper White without pinstripes.

OK, so in this photo, you see a solid white stripe without a pinstripe. Very subdued and in my eyes, kind of boring. I will add the pinstripe later. This was taken in some shade. In the sun, there is much more contrast than you see here.

Now in these photos, I outlined the white stripe with a dual (1/4", 1/16") dark red pinstripe. I think it sets it off nicely. What do you think?

Looks great with the red pinstripes.

Maybe add a single red or black border around the gumball, too? Hard to tell because of the reflections in the pic, but it seems to get lost or look unfinished.

Yeah, I thought about outlining it in red but too much trouble. It actually stands out quite well. My crappie photos don't do it justice. I have a set of magnetic race numbers and with them on there, it stands out even more. I have one on each door as well.

Wow that looks great! I agree that the out line is the way to go with white. I bet any color pinstripe would look as good too. Now I just have to decide on which style of viper stripes to go for.

Pepper white with white stripes

So after about a year of inner debate, I finally decided to go through with it. Here is my 13 MCS full pepper white with pure white viper stripes. I think it looks awesome. I finally understand the joy you get from making your Mini truly one of a kind.
